Association Dues and Fees. 11.1 The University will remit to the Association on a monthly basis the amounts deducted in accordance with Article 5 Association Dues and Fees together with a copy of the deduction control register at the time when the University makes other remissions of funds derived from payroll deductions and in any case not later than the last day of the month following the month in which the deduction is made.

Members: The District will deduct in ten or twelve equal installments from the salaries of each employee, as designated and when authorized by the individual employee, the annual membership fees for the United Teaching Profession (BEA, MEA-MFT, NEA/AFT). When authorization is received after the first pay pe- riod, deductions will be prorated so that the full amount authorized is deducted in equal payments by the end of the school year.
Association Dues and Fees. 12.5.1 Any unit member who is a member of the Association or who has applied for membership may sign and deliver to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of Association membership dues, fees and general assessments of the Association. Pursuant to such authorization the District shall deduct one-tenth of such dues from the regular salary warrant of the unit member each month for ten consecutive months, from September 30. Deductions for unit members who sign such authorizations after the commencement of the school year shall be appropriately prorated to complete payments by the end of the school year.
Association Dues and Fees. 7.1 The Association will obtain written authorization from its Members for membership dues, any revised membership dues, or additional fees, levies or assessments, and will submit such written authorizations to the Employer with at least 30 days notice of the deduction effective date. The Employer agrees to administer the Member-authorized deductions via payroll deduction beginning on the first pay date following the deduction effective date.
Association Dues and Fees. 5.1 Subject to the provisions of section 17 of the Labour Relations Code, it is a condition of employment of all Members of the Bargaining Unit to complete an authorization form providing for the deduction from salary of such fees, dues and assessments as the Association may require. Upon receipt of written authorization signed by the Member, the University will deduct monthly the amount of such fees, dues, and assessments from the salary payable to Members and remit such fees, dues, and assessments to the Association within ten (10) days of the end of each month.

Association Dues and Fees. A. Bus drivers shall as a condition of employment pay either Association membership dues or a service fee in an amount established by the Association. The Board and Association agree that the payroll deduction of membership dues and/or service fees is required as a condition of the collective bargaining agreement. The Board will accordingly deduct the amounts designated by the Association through payroll deduction pursuant to the authority set forth in :YLC.L.A.408.477. The Board will deduct one-tenth (1I10th) of such dues and contributions from the first regular salary check of the bus driver each month for ten (10) months beginning in September and ending in June of each year. Deductions for bus drivers employ~d after the commencement of the school year will be appropriately prorated. In cases when a deduction is made that duplicates a payment that an employee has already made to the Association, or in any other situation where a refund is demanded by an employee, said refunds are not the responsibility of the employer once the employer has remitted all deducted monies to the Association.

The employer shall deduct Association dues and initiation fees from the earned wages of employees in an amount determined by the Association, provided that no such deduction shall be made from any employee’s wages except when authorized by the employee on an appropriate form, a copy of which must be submitted to the Treasurer. It shall be a condition of employment that on or after the thirtieth (30th) day following employment, each employee covered in the Agreement shall pay to the Association an Agency Service Fee which shall be proportionately commensurate with the cost of Collective Bargaining and contract administration. The Agency Fee for the duration of this Agreement shall be paid weekly and equal the Association dues and deducted as set out above. The Association will indemnify, defend and hold the Town harmless against any claims made and against any suits instituted against the Town on account of payroll deduction of the Union dues, initiation fees or the Agency Service Fee. The association agrees to refund to the Town any amounts paid to it in error on account of the payroll deduction provision upon presentation of proper evidence thereof.
