UNION AND COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES. The Union shall supply the Company with the names of employees who have been elected Union Officers, Griev- ance Committee and Stewards authorized to represent the Union, and will keep the list up-to-date. In the ad- ministration of this Agreement, but not its negotiation or the negotiation of renewals, extensions or amendments, Union representatives meeting with Management at the request of Management will be paid for such time spent. Employees in number up to one employee for the first one hundred and one employee for each one hundred em- ployees thereafter or each major fraction thereof in a plant but not to exceed a total of ten employees, subject to the production or work requirements, will be granted permis- sion to be absent in order to attend union conventions. An employee after one year of service credits with the Company, who is elected or appointed by the Local named in this Agreement to full-time work with such Lo- cal, or who is elected a National Officer or is appointed a National Representative of the Union shall, on making fifteen (15) days prior written application to the appropri- ate Relations Manager and stating a definite period for the absence, be granted leave of absence during the term of office (but without pay or the time being credited to his service credits) but not to exceed one year. Such leaves of absence may, on receipt of fifteen (15) days prior written application, be extended from year to year. The Company will supply the Union with a list of Fore- men, Supervisors, Superintendents and their together with the names of other persons in the Plant with whom the Union might have transactions in connection with this Agreement and will keep the list up-to-date. Employees granted a leave of absence for and engaged in full-timework for the Local or the National or in con- nection with any current Letter of Understanding in con- nection therewith, shall be considered to have service credits for purposes of seniority and vacation only, for such periods of time during such leave of absence as they are engaged in such full-time work Area xxxxxxx chief xxxxxxx will be given the opportunity to meet new hires within the first week hire. UNION AND COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES. (B) A Xxxxxxx will assist in the presentation of a grievance only in the area he represents, except that if a Xxxxxxx is absent from the Plant, the VP of UNIFOR Motors may assist in presenting a grievance in that area.

Likewise, the Director of Human Relations will furnish the Union the names and/or titles of the President’s Delegate by Business Unit and Company officials designated to settle or decide grievances at Steps 1, 2 and 3 as set forth below.

UNION AND COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES. 21.01 The Union shall supply the Company with the names of employees serving as Union Officers, Executive Board Members, Bargaining Committee Members, Grievance Committee Members, Seniority Committee Members, Plant Chairperson, and Stewards authorized to represent the Union, and will keep the list updated. It is understood that the Plant Chairperson will serve as Chairperson of the Bargaining, Grievance and Seniority Committees, and any other recognized committees excluding Health and Safety and EAP. It is agreed that the Plant Chairperson shall be granted time as required to perform the above functions. Payment by the Company for such time will be in accordance with the terms hereunder and other applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement. The Plant Chairperson will be elected through a plant wide membership vote in accordance with Letter of Memorandum #26. In the administration (but not its negotiations or the negotiation of renewals, extensions or amendments) of this Agreement, Union representatives meeting with Management at the request of Management will be paid for such time as is so taken during working hours.
