Leave to Attend Union Functions. Upon application to, and upon receiving the permission of the President or designate in each specific case, official representatives of the Union shall be granted leave of absence without pay for the purpose of attending, effective 2009 May 05, the annual convention of CUPE, Local 873, the national and British Columbia divisional conventions of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, the annual convention of the British Columbia Federation of Labour, and the biennial convention of the Canadian Labour Congress.
