Opportunity to Meet. Suspension without pay or termination of employment shall be imposed only by the Superintendent. If a suspension without pay is to be considered pursuant to Section 2 hereof, the employee shall be afforded an opportunity to meet with the Superintendent. The employee may elect to have representation in attendance at any such meeting. In the absence of the Superintendent, another District Office administrator may act as the Superintendent's designee for purposes of this section.

General Fund increases do not include funds specifically restricted for designated uses.
