Shop Steward. A. The Union shall have the right to ap point a Shop Xxxxxxx in each store, whose duties shall be to report any irregularities to the Union Office. In no instance shall the Shop Xxxxxxx be discriminated against for discharg ing such duties, provided such duties do not interfere with the regular performance of his work for the Employer.
Shop Steward. A. The Municipality will recognize that the Business Manager of IBEW Local 1547 retains the right to appoint and dismiss all shop stewards in accordance with the Union rules and regulations. There will be one full-time non-working chief xxxxxxx and up to six part-time working assistant stewards. The Municipality shall recognize the shop stewards as the duly-appointed Union representatives of the employees. The Union will notify the Municipality as to the identity of all shop stewards. All shop stewards shall make every effort in cooperation with the Utility Manager, Department Director or duly-authorized representative to correct violations and infractions of this Agreement by either covered employees or management personnel. The duly-authorized assistant shop stewards, upon request made to their immediate supervisors, shall be given reasonable amounts of time during working hours and without loss of pay, to handle all work-related Union business pertaining to their areas of appointment, including but not limited to grievances and arbitration hearings, and shall keep both the Municipality and the Union informed as to their whereabouts. The Union shall reimburse the Municipality for wages paid by the Municipality to a municipal employee for time spent performing services primarily for the Union, such as, doing work for the union at another employer, attending xxxxxxx training, or in contract negotiations (excluding the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx’x time during contract negotiations); and the municipal employee will maintain accurate time records to reflect the performance of work for the union to be reimbursed. Time codes for shop xxxxxxx duty shall be as reflected in the Municipality’s guidelines. No shop xxxxxxx shall be terminated for any cause until the Utility Manager or Department Director and Business Manager of the Union have completed an investigation into the alleged cause for termination and determined there has been just cause. The assistant shop stewards shall not be laid off as long as there are two (2) or more employees employed within the assistant shop xxxxxxx'x area of appointment.
Shop Steward. A. The EMUA recognizes the right of the Union to designate one shop xxxxxxx and one alternate from the EMUA seniority list. The authority of the shop xxxxxxx and alternate so designated by the Union shall be limited to and shall not exceed the following duties and activities:

Shop Steward. A. The Union shall have the right to designate Shop Stewards. The local Union shall, in writing, notify the Labor Relations office of the Employer as to the identity of the designated Shop Stewards. Shop Stewards shall have the right to receive, but not to promote complaints or differences and to discuss and assist in the adjustment of the same with the appropriate supervisor. The Employer will not discriminate against the Shop Xxxxxxx in the proper performance of their Union duties provided that such duties do not unreasonably interfere with their regular work or with the work of other employees and they shall not leave their work station without first notifying their appropriate supervisor as to their intent, the reason therefore, where they can be reached and the estimated time they will be gone.
Shop Steward. A. There shall be at all times one shop xxxxxxx designated by the Union and one alternate shop xxxxxxx designated by the Union, authorized to act in the absence of the shop xxxxxxx. All references herein to responsibilities and duties of the shop xxxxxxx shall apply to the alternate shop xxxxxxx in the absence of the shop xxxxxxx.
Shop Steward. A. Two (2) Shop Stewards per District, except that District II shall have up to six (6) Shop Stewards with no more than one from each work site. The Union shall be entitled to twelve (12) two (2) Shop Stewards during this contract
Shop Steward. A. Two (2) Shop Stewards shall be allowed access to all represented Division employees. Such Stewards shall be selected from and represent employees. The Union shall immediately notify the State Fire Marshal, the Agency Labor Relations Unit, and the Department of Administrative Services Labor Relations Unit of the names of Shop Stewards and their designated representation area. The Union shall update the list as necessary.
Shop Steward a. The Shop Xxxxxxx may leave his work station for the purpose of handling grievances which require immediate attention by way of investigation and/or adjustment during working hours. It is agreed by the Union that such time off work shall be devoted to the prompt handling of legitimate grievances and that such practice will not be abused and that the Shop Xxxxxxx will continue to work at his assigned job except when requested to leave their work for the handling of grievances as provided herein.
Shop Steward. Xxxxx xhall be in the facility of the Employer Shop Steward(s)designated by the Union. The Shop Steward(s)shall be compxxxxxxx by the Employer for time unavoidably xxxx xuring working hours in the process of adjusting grievances. For purposes of layoff only, Shop Steward(s) shall have super-seniority over other bargaining unit emxxxxxxx.
