Another employer definition

Another employer as used herein means private employer or public employer or self-employed or the employer of a spouse. As a condition of being eligible to receive the RHS contribution set forth above, the City shall have the right to require any retiree to annually certify that the retiree is not receiving any such paid health insurance benefits from another employer. If it is later discovered that misrepresentation has occurred, the retiree will be responsible for reimbursement to the City of those amounts inappropriately deposited and the retiree's eligibility to receive future RHS deposits will cease.

  • Other employee means an individual employed by a primary owner who is not authorized to provide proposition player services. “Other employee” does not include any owner, any supervisor, or any officer or director of a primary owner that is a corporation.   • Related Company means any entity that is directly or indirectly controlled by, in control of or under common control with the Company.

"Small employer" does not include the federal government; any state government, including any state agency or instrumentality; any political subdivision; or any entity treated as a government for financial accounting and reporting purposes.

  • Service employee, as used in this clause, means any person (other than a person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity as defined in 29 CFR 541) engaged in performing a District contract not exempted under 41 U.S.C. §356, the principal purpose of which is to furnish services in the United States, as defined in section 22.1001 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. It includes all such persons regardless of the actual or alleged contractual relationship between them and a contractor.

  • Employers means the Company and/or any of its subsidiaries (now in existence or hereafter formed or acquired) that have been selected by the Board to participate in the Plan and have adopted the Plan as a sponsor.
