School Year Employees. In the event the employer is required to make up a canceled day of student instruction in order to receive full state aid payments, school year employees will not receive pay for the canceled instructional day but will be rescheduled and paid on the scheduled make- up day. In the event the employer is not required to make up a canceled day of student instruction in order to receive full state aid payments, school year employees will not be required to report to work and will be paid for the canceled instruction day.
School Year Employees. The Employer shall contribute the Employer’s share of the single and/or family coverage for all insurance plans during recesses in the academic year and/or summer for employees who are regularly employed on a school year basis for less than twelve (12) months out of a year.
School Year Employees. (1) Employees regularly scheduled to work thirty (30) or more hours per week will receive $585.00 annually. Spouses who are dual employed by the district will be paid $292.50 cash in lieu annually.
School Year Employees. In the event school is closed for a full day, the School Board will have the authority to determine if, how, and when such time will be made up. If make-up time is required by the School Board but is not completed by the employee, the employee’s compensation shall be reduced by the number of hours the employee was paid for the closed day. School Year Employees. Effective October 1, 2021, the School District shall contribute a sum of not to exceed $568.00 per month toward the premium for individual coverage for each eligible employee who qualifies for and is enrolled in a School District single group health and hospitalization plan. The district reserves the right to make additional premium contributions for any individual employee to meet the health care affordability requirements of state or federal law.

School Year Employees. School year employees shall notify the District in writing by June 1 if they do not intend to return to work for the subsequent school year. If an employee resigns after June 1, the employee shall be responsible for reimbursing the District for insurances paid on their behalf for the months of July and August. The requirement for reimbursement may be waived at the sole discretion of the Superintendent in extenuating circumstances.
School Year Employees. Employees who are hired by the District to regularly work while school is in session shall be considered “school year employees”. Employees hired to work more than the school year but less than 52 weeks shall also be considered “school year employees”. A school year employee may either be full-time or part-time as defined herein.
