Working Year definition

Working Year means the period commencing on 1 January and finishing on 31 December of the same year and shall be the basis for the calculation of all service increments and leave entitlements.

More Definitions of Working Year

Working Year means the number of working hours per calendar year exclusive of meal breaks, annual, public and sick leave and is based on a 40-hour week for 44 weeks of the year. For the purpose of the Contract the working annual hours shall be considered as 1760 hrs.
