Unpaid Days. Notwithstanding two (2) previously agreed upon unpaid days (November 3, 2020 and April 2, 2021), two (2) additional unpaid days in Fiscal Year 2020/2021 shall be taken as follows:
Unpaid Days. In the event a teacher has exhausted available leave days provided for in this Article, said teacher may apply to the Superintendent/Designee for unpaid day(s) on an emergency basis. For the purpose of determining when an emergency exists, “emergency” shall be defined as an unforeseen event which prohibits the teacher from attending to their assigned duties.
Unpaid Days. The District shall grant Employees who work twelve (12) months (2080 hours annually) or more, an unpaid 261st day, on an F.T.E. basis. On Leap Years, the District shall grant Employees who work twelve (12) months (2080 hours annually) or more, an unpaid 262nd day, on an F.T.E. basis. This day must be taken in accordance with existing District leave policies.
Unpaid Days. Days off without pay are highly discouraged due to the impact upon departmental operations. The Director of Food Service may approve at his/her sole discretion, a day off without pay to address extenuating circumstances which necessitate an unpaid absence from work. Each request will be reviewed on its own merit. Factors to be considered in approving or denying such leave requests are: frequency of request, time of year request is made and estimated availability of substitutes. Decisions made by the Food Services Director are final and not subject to grievance.
Unpaid Days. All employees shall be allowed to use up to two unpaid days off per year without being subjected to the attendance policy or section 12.2.(a). However, these days cannot be used on weekends or holidays. Normal reporting is required. No unpaid days will be allowed on December 26.
Unpaid Days. A. Employees are expected to come to work on all days they are scheduled to provide transportation services. Unpaid days must be approved in advance by the Supervisor.
Unpaid Days. Teachers will be granted up to five (5) unpaid days upon request, such request to be made with as much notice as possible. Requests may be granted provided: (1) there is sufficient Occasional Teacher coverage, and (2) it is reasonable to grant the unpaid day of leave having regard to the plans in the classroom for the specified day.
Unpaid Days. An employee wishing to take an unpaid day(s) off must first receive pre-approval from the Superintendent or his/her designee. Failure to receive pre-approval for unpaid day(s) off without pay may result in discipline, up to and including discharge.
Unpaid Days. Must have superintendent approval. Failure to have prior approval may result in discipline up to discharge from employment.
Unpaid Days. Any days taken without pay must be approved in advance by the Superintendent.
