Food Service Employees. School year food service employees shall be entitled to the following paid vacation schedule:
Food Service Employees. If a food service employee is unavailable for work for personal illness, they must call the Supervisor of Food Service at least two (2) hours before their established starting time.
Food Service Employees. Food service employees will be paid at their regular rate for the following holidays if they work the last regularly scheduled work day preceding the holiday and the first regularly scheduled work day after the holiday: Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Friday after Thanksgiving Day Christmas Eve Day Christmas Day New Year’s Day Good Friday (when scheduled on school calendar) Memorial Day
Food Service Employees. Part-time staff may be hired for Food Service positions for 23 peak work load times with agreement of SPALC.
Food Service Employees. The immediate supervisor for all food service classified employees shall be the Cafeteria Manager and the evaluation process for food service classified personnel shall be as listed above for elementary head custodians.
Food Service Employees. Must have a current Food Handlers Permit and pass the Post Offer Employment Test provided by the district. Employees must be capable of physically completing the tasks essential to the job and the district has the right to reassess the employee at any time to determine if they are capable of performing the duties assigned.
Food Service Employees. Section 36.01 Employees will be allowed to wear their own clean and appropriate clothing (no blue denim jeans, sweat- pants or leggings – white, black, or tan slacks are preferred). Employees must wear white or black work or tennis shoes with skid-resistant soles, preferably with leather uppers to protect against xxxxx. No open toe shoes or shoes with holes on upper portion will be allowed. Shoes must have a closed heel. The Board will provide employees with shirts to be worn during all work hours. Xxxxx assigned a seven (7) hour position on a temporary basis by the food service supervisor or Superintendent or designee shall, after twenty (20) consecutive work-days in the position, be paid on the lowest step of the position which provides a salary increase.
Food Service Employees. An employee shall not be required to report to work when school is canceled. The employee will receive his/her normal daily payment for the first four (4) cancelled days. In the event the District is required to reschedule the day(s) in order to receive full state membership aid, the employee will work on the rescheduled day(s) at no additional compensation. For all cancelled days beyond the first four (4), if the days are rescheduled as student instruction days, an employee shall be compensated for the hours worked on the rescheduled days.
Food Service Employees. The normal work week for all employees in the elementary, middle school and high school is Monday through Friday.
