General Employees. The schedules of work for general employees shall be at the sole discretion of the Employer and as determined by the Employer from time to time to secure the efficient operation of the Employer's business.
15.03 A one hour lunch period will be provided without pay, during each day of the normal work week except Saturdays which will be one half hour.
15.04 A rest period of fifteen minutes shall be provided during the first half of each regularly scheduled shift and another fifteen minutes shall be provided during the second half of each regularly scheduled shift. The hours of work in all classifications include these rest periods.
15.05 Any non flat rate employee time scheduled by the Employer in excess of forty four (44) hours per pay period or eight and one half (8 1/2) hours per day will be paid at time and one half (1 1/2) the employee's regular rate as set out in Article 24 hereof. A flat rate employee's guarantee will be increased by an amount equal to one (1) times the employee's base rate set out in Article 24 for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours and less than forty-four (44) hours per pay period. Additionally, a flat rate employee's guarantee will be increased by an amount equal to time and one half (1 1/2) the employee's base rate set out in Article 24 for all hours worked in excess of forty four (44) hours per pay period or eight and one half (8 1/2) hours per day. Flat rate earnings for all hours worked will be calculated using the regular rate of pay.
15.06 An employee shall not leave the Employer's premises during his tour of duty or assigned working hours, except as required in the performance of his assigned duties.
15.07 An employee engaged in working on a job at the end of his shift or period of duty will complete the said job if possible to do so within a period of one-half (1/2) hour following the termination of his shift or tour of duty, provided the job involves a vehicle which a customer requires before the commencement of the employee's next shift or tour of duty.
15.08 All work performed on Sundays will be paid for at double time (2) the employee's regular- rate, exclusive of premiums, for all hours so worked.
15.09 In computing overtime, hours compensated for at overtime rates under any provision shall not be counted further for any purpose in determining overtime liability under the same or any other provision and there shall be no pyramiding of overtime.
