WORK SCHEDULES AND POSTING. 1512 The work schedule of the SCNSC will be developed and posted at least 14 days in advance for the next four weeks or calendar month and will reflect holidays and days off of all SCNSC scheduled to work. In a collaborative manner, individual departments can choose to self‐schedule. Final approval for scheduling rests with the individual department manager or supervisor. 1513 If in the interest of efficient operations or due to a change in patient care needs, it becomes necessary to establish schedules departing from the normal schedule, the Employer shall notify and confer with the Association to arrange mutually satisfactory schedules. In such instances, and where possible, the Employer will consider the preferences of the concerned SCNSC however, it is understood that the right to establish such rests with the Employer. 1514 When the Employer identifies a need to permanently change hours of operation or permanently expand clinic schedules, Management will notify the Association in writing, and provide at least thirty (30) days’ notice to the affected staff. In unforeseen, extenuating circumstances, the parties will agree to waive the thirty (30) day notice. This language does not mitigate the parties obligation to bargain over the effects of such changes. 1515 SCNSC Status 1516 Full‐time SCNSC is defined as a SCNSC regularly scheduled to work forty (40) hours within the workweek, or eighty (80) hours in the pay period, unless otherwise defined by an alternate shift agreement. 1517 Part‐time SCNSC is defined as a SCNSC regularly scheduled to work less than forty (40) hours per week on a pre‐determined basis, or less than eighty (80) hours in a pay period on a pre‐determined basis, unless otherwise defined by an alternate shift agreement. This is not to imply an guarantee of work week but may be posted as such. 1518 Per Diem SCNSC is defined as a SCNSC who works as a replacement or on an intermittent basis, and works less than one‐thousand forty (1,040) hours per year. However, there could be circumstances in which a SCNSC works more than two‐hundred sixty (260) hours in any one quarter. Work schedules will be posted fourteen (14) days in advance of their commencement dates. For those employees whose schedules are fixed, they will be exempt from this requirement. For those employees who schedules vary from week to week, this fourteen day (14) day minimum posting applies.

  • Work Schedules Workweeks and work shifts of different numbers of hours may be established by the Employer in order to meet business and customer service needs, as long as the work schedules meet federal and state laws.

  • Schedules and Exhibits All of the schedules and exhibits attached to this Agreement shall be deemed incorporated herein by reference.

  • Alternative Work Schedules Employees may request alternative work schedules such as a nine (9) day - 80 hour two week schedule or a four (4) day - 40 hour week schedule. Management will respond to an employee's request within 15 calendar days. Any changes from existing work schedules will be based on the needs of the service as determined by Management. Employees covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act will not be placed on alternate work schedules that mandate the payment of overtime under the Act.

  • Voltage Schedules Once the Developer has synchronized the Large Generating Facility with the New York State Transmission System, NYISO shall require Developer to operate the Large Generating Facility to produce or absorb reactive power within the design capability of the Large Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria). NYISO’s voltage schedules shall treat all sources of reactive power in the New York Control Area in an equitable and not unduly discriminatory manner. NYISO shall exercise Reasonable Efforts to provide Developer with such schedules in accordance with NYISO procedures, and may make changes to such schedules as necessary to maintain the reliability of the New York State Transmission System. Developer shall operate the Large Generating Facility to maintain the specified output voltage or power factor at the Point of Interconnection within the design capability of the Large Generating Facility set forth in Article 9.5.1 (Power Factor Design Criteria) as directed by the Connecting Transmission Owner’s System Operator or the NYISO. If Developer is unable to maintain the specified voltage or power factor, it shall promptly notify NYISO.

  • Incorporation of Schedules and Exhibits The schedules, attachments and exhibits referenced in and attached to this Agreement shall be deemed an integral part hereof to the same extent as if written in whole herein. In the event that any inconsistency or conflict exists between the provisions of this Agreement and any schedules, attachments or exhibits attached hereto, the provisions of this Agreement shall supersede the provisions of any such schedules, attachments or exhibits.

  • Work Schedule A 4/10 work schedule is four (4) ten hour days in a seven (7) day period, for a total of forty (40) hours per week.

  • Outage Schedules The Connecting Transmission Owner shall post scheduled outages of its transmission facilities on the NYISO OASIS. Developer shall submit its planned maintenance schedules for the Large Generating Facility to Connecting Transmission Owner and NYISO for a minimum of a rolling thirty-six month period. Developer shall update its planned maintenance schedules as necessary. NYISO may direct, or the Connecting Transmission Owner may request, Developer to reschedule its maintenance as necessary to maintain the reliability of the New York State Transmission System. Compensation to Developer for any additional direct costs that the Developer incurs as a result of rescheduling maintenance, including any additional overtime, breaking of maintenance contracts or other costs above and beyond the cost the Developer would have incurred absent the request to reschedule maintenance, shall be in accordance with the NYISO OATT. Developer will not be eligible to receive compensation, if during the twelve (12) months prior to the date of the scheduled maintenance, the Developer had modified its schedule of maintenance activities other than at the direction of the NYISO or request of the Connecting Transmission Owner.

  • NORMAL WORK SCHEDULES 112. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, a “normal work day” is a tour of duty of eight (8) hours completed within not more than nine (9) hours. The normal work week for employees covered by this agreement is 40 hours.
