Supplemental Committee. The BOARD and the ASSOCIATION will continue the Supplemental Committee consisting of three (3) ASSOCIATION members and three (3) Administrators which will recommend to the Superintendent and BEA President the placement of new positions and movement of current positions on the Supplemental Schedules. The purpose of the committee is to study all aspects of the supplemental salary schedule including schedule index, longevity formula, potential new positions and movement of current positions on the schedule. The committee will make recommendations to the Superintendent and Association.

Supplemental Committee. No later than March 1 a Committee shall be convened to review the current structure, index, job duties, the creation and/or amendment of positions, and other relevant topics covering the supplemental salaries as listed herein. The committee shall be comprised of not more than four (4) persons appointed by the Board and not more than four (4) persons appointed by the Association. Association representatives to this committee shall be responsible for reviewing the supplemental provisions and making recommendations about any revisions they feel are necessary to the CEA. If the committee is unable to agree, the Superintendent shall make the final decision. No existing supplemental position shall be modified except through agreement between the Association and Board.

The committee will compare the District’s list of supplementals and the supplemental pay schedule to comparable school districts and members of the Greater Miami Conference.
