Submittals and Shop Drawings. The Professional shall, review, certify, approve, reject or take other appropriate action on, and return all submittals such as shop drawings, product data and samples. The Professional shall not approve any such submittals unless such submittals conform to (i) the Project design concept; (ii) the Construction Documents; (iii) the Contracts for Construction; and (iv) the Owner’s Approved Construction Budget. The professional shall use the Owner’s Project Management System to record the dates received from or returned to the contractor, the findings of the Professional’s review, and other pertinent information pertaining to each submittal.

Submittals and Shop Drawings. 2.1 The Contractor shall prepare all Shop Drawings and Submittals necessary to perform the Work. If professional design services or certifications are necessary to perform the Shop Drawings or Submittals, the Contractor shall cause such services to be provided by a properly licensed design professional, whose signature and seal shall appear on all drawings, calculations, specifications, certifications, Shop Drawings and other Submittals prepared by such professional.
Submittals and Shop Drawings. The PMT may establish any necessary procedures and protocols with respect to submission, review and archiving of Submittals and Shop Drawings. Such procedures and protocols are may establish timing and processes, but are not to restrict the Prime Consultant in the substance of the review of the submission.

The Contractor shall read, carefully study and check subcontractor’s shop drawings and submittals for accuracy and see that work contiguous with and having bearing on work indicated on shop drawings shall be dated, numbered consecutively, show working and erection dimensions and as necessary details, and include complete information for connecting to other work. Any work required by shop drawings that is fabricated by the Contractor prior to receiving the appropriate approval from the architect and or engineer of record shall be done at the Contractor’s sole risk.

Submittals and Shop Drawings. Subcontractor shall immediately upon execution of this Agreement prepare for BP’s submittal to Architect (and any other entities as required by the Subcontract Documents) any and all shop drawings, calculations, samples, cut sheets, and other submittals as required by the Subcontract Documents.
Submittals and Shop Drawings. 3.11.1 Design-Builder will review for compliance with the Contract Documents and approve and submit to Engineer, Shop Drawings, product data and similar submittals required by the Contract Documents. City will review and approve submittals in accordance with the Contract Documents. City’s review and approval will be only to determine if the items covered by the submittals will, after installation or incorporation in the construction, conform to the information given in the Contract Documents and be compatible with the design concept of the completed project as a functioning whole as indicated by the Contract Documents. City’s review and approval will not extend to means, methods, techniques, sequences or procedures of construction (except where a particular means, method, technique, sequence or procedure of construction is specifically and expressly called for by the Contract Documents) or to safety precautions or programs incident thereto. The review and approval of a separate item, as such, will not indicate approval of the assembly in which the item functions. Design-Builder shall make corrections required by City, and shall return the required number of corrected copies of the required submittal for review and approval. Design-Builder shall direct specific attention, in writing, to revisions other than the corrections called for by City on previous submittals. City’s review and approval of required submittals shall not relieve Design-Builder from responsibility for any variation from the requirements of the Contract Documents unless Design- Builder has, in writing, called City’s attention to each such variation at the time of submission and City has given written approval of each such variation by specific written notation thereof incorporated in or accompanying the submittal.
Submittals and Shop Drawings. Subcontractor agrees to prepare, or otherwise obtain, and submit shop drawings/samples, product data and other submittals as soon as possible. Subcontractor shall provide Contractor with a complete schedule for all submittals no later than 14 days after execution of the Subcontract Agreement. Subcontractor shall be responsible to Contractor for the accuracy and conformity of its submittals to the Contract Documents. The Subcontractor shall prepare and deliver an electronic copy of its submittals to the Contractor in a manner consistent with the Project Schedule and in such advance time and sequence to allow for the proper review of the submittals by the Contractor, Architect and Owner and in such timely fashion as not to delay the Contractor or others in the performance of the Work. Subcontractor shall be responsible and liable for delays to the Project Schedule resulting from Subcontractor’s failure to timely submit shop drawings and other submittals as required herein. Additionally, if Subcontractor prepares submittals that are not in conformance with Contract Documents or if the submittals require multiple reviews of Contractor or Architect because of the insufficiency of the submittals, Subcontractor will be liable for any reasonable, additional administrative and review cost incurred by Contractor. Review of Submittals by Contractor, Owner or Architect shall relate solely to general conformity with the Contract Documents. Such review shall not be construed as an approval in detail of conformity of such Submittals with the design drawings, specifications or other Contract Documents, and shall not excuse Subcontractor from fully complying with the terms and conditions of the Contract Documents. No such approval or review shall constitute a waiver of, or agreement to, any change or deviation to the Contract Documents (except in the case of “Alternate” Submittals as provided below). If Submittals deviate from or are inconsistent with the design drawings, the specifications or other Contract Documents, and such deviations or inconsistencies impose upon Contractor any expense because of delays or extra work or otherwise, Subcontractor agrees to hold Contractor harmless from and to indemnify Contractor from any such expense or damage, including attorney’s fees.
