Overtime Lunch Period. When overtime is required in excess of regular hours on the shift, exceeding two (2) hours Employees shall receive one-half (½) hour lunch period at straight time rates. For each additional four (4) hours of work the Employer shall supply lunch at no loss of time.

Overtime Lunch Period. When overtime is required before or after the regular hours on the shift, exceeding two (2) hours, employees shall receive one-half (1/2) hour lunch period at straight time rates. If overtime of four (4) hours is worked, the Employer shall supply lunch every four (4) hours with no loss of time. It is understood that additional lunch periods are paid for at prevailing rates but are not included in the calculation of time worked. (i.e. twelve (12) hours must be worked before the second (2nd) meal break is paid.) The parties agree that in extenuating circumstances, should the Employer not be able to provide a meal in an overtime situation as defined herein, the Employer will compensate the employee in lieu of the missed meal, by an amount of thirty dollars ($30.00) meal allowance.
Overtime Lunch Period. A one-half hour unpaid meal period will be provided following the first two (2) hours of overtime and after each subsequent four (4) hour period. The Employer shall pay not less than one-half (1/2) the straight time Journeyman hourly rate for each meal.

  • Lunch Period Employees who work five (5) hours or more shall be granted a thirty (30) minute, duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period, which may or may not be during the normal lunch hours.

  • Duty-Free Lunch Period All teachers shall be entitled to a thirty-five (35) minute duty free lunch period.

  • Lunch Periods 3.6.1 All employees covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to an uninterrupted lunch period, which shall be scheduled for full-time employees at or about mid-point of each work shift. If time variations to this schedule need to be established, the wishes of the affected employees and the efficient operation of the District shall be the criteria used to establish such variation.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.

  • Work Period; Overtime Pay The work period for overtime computation purposes shall be a seven (7) day period, as defined by the Employer. Nurses working this twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall be paid overtime compensation at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours after the end of the twelve (12) hour shift or for any hours worked beyond forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period. If a nurse works more than two (2) consecutive hours beyond the end of the twelve (12) hour shift, all overtime hours after fourteen (14) consecutive hours of work for that shift shall be paid at double time (2x).

  • Extended Work Day Teachers who, during the 196-day work year, are employed for 36 instruction at the District office or a school beyond the defined teacher work day, will be paid 37 according to their current base rate of pay, exclusive of any supplements paid. 39 (3) Professional Development
