Work Period; Overtime Pay. The work period for overtime computation purposes shall be a seven (7) day period, as defined by the Employer. Nurses working this twelve (12) hour shift schedule shall be paid overtime compensation at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the regular rate of pay for the first two (2) hours after the end of the twelve (12) hour shift or for any hours worked beyond forty (40) hours in a seven (7) day period. If a nurse works more than two (2) consecutive hours beyond the end of the twelve (12) hour shift, all overtime hours after fourteen (14) consecutive hours of work for that shift shall be paid at double time (2x).

Employees who work in excess of ten (10) hours in any day or in excess of (40) hours during a seven (7) day work week period will be paid for the excess work hours at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times their regular pay rate. If an employee works more than three (3) hours beyond the end of a ten (10) hour shift, all overtime hours after completion of the 12th hour will be paid at the rate of two times (2x) the regular rate of pay.
Work Period; Overtime Pay. Employees will work two (2) sixteen (16) hour shifts per week (usually on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, however the actual days that are actually worked may vary by department). Employees will be paid eight (8) hours at regular pay and eight (8) hours at one and one-half (1 ½) overtime pay for each day worked. The contractual double time overtime premium provision is waived for sixteen (16) hour shift employees. Hours worked over sixteen (16) will continue to be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) overtime pay however, no sixteen (16) hour employee may be required to work over sixteen and one-half (16 ½) hours in any twenty-four (24) hour period. There will be no pyramiding of overtime, including for extra shifts worked. If an employee works more than one (1) hour beyond the end of a sixteen (16) hour shift, all overtime hours, including the seventeenth (17th) hour, will be paid at the rate of two times (2x) the regular rate of pay.

For the scheduled twelve (12) hour shifts, if a nurse works more than fourteen (14) consecutive hours, all overtime hours worked shall be paid at the rate of double (2x) the nurse’s regular rate of pay. For the scheduled eight (8) hour shift, if a nurse works more than twelve (12) consecutive hours, all hours worked beyond twelve (12) shall be paid at the rate of double (2x) the nurse’s regular rate of pay. EVERGREENHEALTH PER DIEM NURSES ADDENDUM 3 The following conditions of employment shall apply to per diem nurses:

All overtime hours in excess of twelve (12) consecutive hours of work during any day shall be paid at the rate of two times (2x) the regular rate of pay, except for twelve (12) hour shifts. If an employee works more than one (1) hour beyond the end of a 12 (12) hour shift, all overtime hours, including the thirteenth (13th) hour, will be paid at the rate of two times (2x) the regular rate of pay.
Work Period; Overtime Pay. Overtime at the rate of one and one half (1 ½x times) the nurse’s regular rate of pay will be paid in accordance with Article 8.4 for nurses scheduled to nine (9) hour shifts. Double time (2 x) will be after twelve (12) consecutive hours worked.
