Extended Work Day. Teachers who, during the 196-day work year, are employed for 36 instruction at the District office or a school beyond the defined teacher work day, will be paid 37 according to their current base rate of pay, exclusive of any supplements paid. 39 (3) Professional Development
Extended Work Day. 39.01 Where the parties to this Collective Agreement agree to implement a system employing an extended work day and resultant compressed work week, they shall evidence such agreement by signing a document indicating such agreement applies.
Extended Work Day. 31.05 All provisions pertaining to Casual Employees working the extended work day are covered in Article 40C.
Extended Work Day. (c) The Employer, in scheduling Shifts, shall take into consideration an Employee’s request for certain Shift schedules, subject to the requirements of Article 7.02(a).
Extended Work Day. In cases involving extending the workday beyond contractual limits, the District shall adjust the workday. Additional time shall be paid at the teacher’s per-diem rate. During any additional unassigned time, the teacher shall be assigned to assignment-related tasks.
Extended Work Day. 44.01 (a) Where the Parties to this Collective Agreement agree to implement a system employing an extended work day and resultant compressed work week, they shall evidence such Collective Agreement by signing a document indicating those Work Units where such Collective Agreement applies. The list of Nursing Units may be amended from time to time by agreement of the Parties. Such list shall indicate for each Unit whether this list applies to Full- time Employees, Part-time Employees or both.
Extended Work Day. When employees are required to report before or after the regularly scheduled workday, they shall be compensated. Such compensation shall be at the regular hourly rate except when the total hours per week exceed forty (40) hours, which shall result in compensation at one and one half (1-1/2) times the regularly hourly rate. Employees may be required to work an extended shift, not to exceed 2.5 hours, in the event that the child/staff ratio has not been met. The provisions outlined in Article X, Section 6 (B) shall apply. Any member of the unit who is required to work on a Saturday or Sunday will be paid at one and on-half (1 ½) times the hourly rate.

Extended Work Day. A) Variations to this article are to provide for an extended work day which refers to schedules with shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
Extended Work Day. It is understood and agreed that the hours of work as set out hereunder are specifically revised to conform to the requirements of the extended work day. There shall be eight (8) work hours or more per day and an average of not more than thirty-seven point five (37.5) work hours per week over the period of weeks in the rotation. The weekly hours of work will be computed as follows: The number of work hours per day (excluding overtime) X The number of work days in a work schedule Number of weeks in the work schedule The daily full shift hours and weekly full shift hours shall be exclusive of meal periods.
