Living Wage Ordinance. CONTRACTOR shall comply with the Living Wage Ordinance, LAAC Section 10.37 et seq., as amended from time to time. CONTRACTOR further agrees that it shall comply with federal law proscribing retaliation for union organizing. Any subcontract entered into by CONTRACTOR for work to be performed under this Contract must include an identical provision.

Living Wage Ordinance. MCC Sect. 2-92-610 provides for a living wage for certain categories of workers employed in the performance of City contracts, specifically non-City employed security guards, parking attendants, day laborers, home and health care workers, cashiers, elevator operators, custodial workers, and clerical workers ("Covered Employees"). Accordingly, pursuant to MCC Sect. 2-92-610 and regulations promulgated thereunder: if the Contractor has 25 or more full-time employees, and if at any time during the performance of the contract the Contractor and/or any subcontractor or any other entity that provides any portion of the Services (collectively "Performing Parties") uses 25 or more full-time security guards, or any number of other full-time Covered Employees, then The Contractor's obligation to pay, and to assure payment of, the Base Wage will begin at any time during the Contract term when the conditions set forth in (1) and (2) above are met, and will continue thereafter until the end of the Contract term. As of July 1, 2018 the Base Wage is $12.55. The current rate can be found on the Department of Procurement Services’ website. Note: As of July 1, 2018, the wage specified by Mayoral Executive Order 2014-1 is higher than the Base Wage rate. Therefore, the higher wage specified by the Executive Order (or other applicable rule or law) must be paid. Each July 1st the Base Wage will be adjusted, using the most recent federal poverty guidelines for a family of four (4) as published annually by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, to constitute the following: the poverty guidelines for a family of four (4) divided by 2000 hours or the current base wage, whichever is higher. At all times during the term of this Contract, Contractor and all other Performing Parties must pay the Base Wage (as adjusted in accordance with the above). If the payment of prevailing wages is required for work or services done under this Contract, and the prevailing wages for Covered Employees are higher than the Base Wage, then the Contractor must pay the prevailing wage rates. The Contractor must include provisions in all subcontracts requiring its Subcontractors to pay the Base Wage to Covered Employees. The Contractor agrees to provide the City with documentation acceptable to the CPO demonstrating that all Covered Employees, whether employed by the Contractor or by a subcontractor, have been paid the Base Wage, upon the City's request for such documentation. Living Wage Ordinance. Consultant expressly agrees, as a part of its obligations under this Contract, to comply with the terms of the Living Wage Ordinance as set forth in Los Angeles Administrative Code Section 10.37, et seq., including any future amendments thereto.
Living Wage Ordinance. If the contract amount of this Agreement is equal to or greater than $25,000 annually, then Contractor must comply with the Oakland Living Wage Ordinance. The Living Wage Ordinance requires that nothing less than a prescribed minimum level of compensation (a living wage) be paid to employees of service contractors (consultants) of the City and employees of CFARs (Ord. 12050 § 1, 1998). The Ordinance also requires submission of the Declaration of Compliance attached and incorporated herein as Schedule N and made part of this Agreement, and, unless specific exemptions apply or a waiver is granted, the consultant must provide the following to its employees who perform services under or related to this Agreement:
