Common use of Living Wage Ordinance Clause in Contracts

Living Wage Ordinance. The Consultant may be required to comply with the “Minneapolis Living Wage and Responsible Public Spending Ordinance” (xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/www/groups/ public/@finance/documents/webcontent/convert_255695.pdf), Chapter 38 of the City’s Code of Ordinances (the “Ordinance”). Unless otherwise exempt from the Ordinance as provided in Section 38.40 (c), any MPRB contract for services valued in excess of $175,000 or any MPRB financial assistance or subsidy valued in excess of $175,000 will be subject to the Ordinance’s requirement that the Consultant and its sub-contractors pay their employees a “living wage” as defined and provided for in the Ordinance.
