Common use of Living Wage Ordinance Clause in Contracts

Living Wage Ordinance. If the contract amount of this Agreement is equal to or greater than $25,000 annually, then Contractor must comply with the Oakland Living Wage Ordinance. The Living Wage Ordinance requires that nothing less than a prescribed minimum level of compensation (a living wage) be paid to employees of service contractors (consultants) of the City and employees of CFARs (Ord. 12050 § 1, 1998). The Ordinance also requires submission of the Declaration of Compliance attached and incorporated herein as Schedule N and made part of this Agreement, and, unless specific exemptions apply or a waiver is granted, the consultant must provide the following to its employees who perform services under or related to this Agreement:
