Confidential Employee. An employee occupying a position which by the nature of its duties has access to decisions of management affecting employee relations and has been designated confidential by the County Manager. In addition, it includes any employee occupying a position in the County Manager's Office or Human Resources. Confidential employees are not covered by this Agreement.

Confidential Employee. An employee who is privy to decisions of management affecting employee relations, including all employees of the Human Resources Department or its equivalent. Confidential employees have all the benefits of this contract. Confidential employees who work in positions which involve sensitive labor relations matters cannot be represented by the Association when taking action under the grievance procedure and disciplinary action articles.
Confidential Employee. Any University employee who is a licensed medical, clinical or mental-health professional (e.g., physicians, nurses, physicians’ assistants, psychologists, psychiatrists, professional counselors and social workers, and those performing services under their supervision), when acting in his or her professional role in the provision of services to a client who is a University student and (2) any University employee providing administrative, operational and/or related support for such health care providers in their performance of such services. Student employees, with the exception of those working in Residence Life, are not designated responsible employees at the University of Alaska. Responsible Employee: All University employees are required to report sexual misconduct to the Title IX office within 24 hours.
