Initial Employment. On recruitment of tradesmen whose regular residence* or place of recruitment, whichever is closer to the project, is between ninety-six (96) to one hundred and eighty-nine (189) road-driven kilometers from the project, the Employer shall pay $34.00 effective May 1, 2020 for the initial trip to the Project.
Initial Employment. On recruitment of tradesmen who live between 97 and 162 radius kilometers from the project, the Employer shall pay $32.00 for the initial trip to the project.
Initial Employment. Each new Association employee initially hired for a position in the Association shall have a probationary period of one (1) year. No probationary period exists for employees who assumed an Association position prior to June 30, 2000.
Initial Employment. Upon initial employment, each bargaining unit member shall receive a copy of the applicable job description, a specification of the monthly and hourly rates applicable to his/her position. Within ten (10) days of employment the supervisor will meet with the new bargaining unit member and inform the bargaining unit member of specific duties of the position, work schedule, and evaluation procedures.
Initial Employment. Initial employment occurring between the first and fifteenth of the month shall be computed from the first of that month and beginning between the sixteenth and the end of the month shall be computed from the first of the following month.
Initial Employment. Probationary employees are “at will” employees. An Educational Support Professional whose performance is unsatisfactory may be released at the discretion of the employer during the first one hundred and thirty
Initial Employment. Classified personnel must have been employed by the District at least six (6) months prior to July 1 of the contract year. Vacation accrual during the initial fiscal year of employment shall be five-twelfths (5/12) of a day per month. If an employee is terminated during their initial fiscal year they shall not be entitled to any vacation pay. Employees must be hired prior to January 1st of a fiscal year to accrue vacation leave in their first year in keeping with the salary advancement schedule. Half-time personnel must meet the same criteria.
Initial Employment. At the discretion of the principal, subject to the approval of the Superintendent, credit upon hiring or rehiring may be given for prior full-time teaching experience in public or private schools, college teaching experience or other experience. Normal progression, if service is satisfactory, may be anticipated thereafter starting from this point.
Initial Employment. Bargaining unit members to be employed by the Board shall be recommended by the Superintendent and assigned to a teaching position by the Superintendent, unless another procedure is prescribed by statute (ORC 3319.07).
Initial Employment. Each teacher shall be placed on the salary guide as follows:
a. Teaching experience credit on the salary guide shall be given for all accumulated teaching experience while the teacher possessed any state’s teacher certification in accordance with Schedules X-0, X-0, and A-3.
b. In addition, credit may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent for:
(1) up to five (5) additional years of prior work experience for any position except those listed in (2) below.
(2) up to eight (8) additional years of prior work experience for Learning Consultants, Mathematics Teachers, Media Specialists, Nurses, Psychologists, Science Teachers, Social Workers and World Language Teachers.
c. Military service credit shall be granted consistent with New Jersey statutory requirements.
d. The total maximum credit under a., b. and c. above shall be up to the last step on the guide.
