Classes included in the Fire Management Unit as of July 1, 2016: 5805 Fire Battalion Chief Suppression 5806 Fire Battalion Chief Staff 5807 Fire Division Chief APPENDIX B SIDE AGREEMENTS • OCFACOA Supplemental Retiree Medical Plan Agreement • Transition of Employment Agreement OCFACOA SUPPLEMENTAL RETIREE MEDICAL PLAN AGREEMENT BETWEEN ORANGE COUNTY FIRE AUTHORITY CHIEF OFFICERS ASSOCIATION, ORANGE COUNTY PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION, IAFF LOCAL 3631 AND ORANGE COUNTY FIRE AUTHORITY TERM OF THE AGREEMENT: SEPTEMBER 28, 2006 THROUGH June 30, 2020 IN CONSIDERATION OF the mutual covenants, promises, and conditions set forth herein below and pursuant to Article XXV of the 2001-2013 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Orange County Fire Authority Chief Officers Association (OCFACOA), and the Orange County Fire Authority (Authority) the parties agree as follows:
Bargaining Unit Classifications. A brief description of the titles and classification in this unit is set forth below. The parties understand and acknowledge that these descriptions are intended to be general. The University may concurrently appoint Postdoctoral Scholars to more than one Postdoctoral Scholar title.
Bargaining Unit Classifications. 5 The postdoctoral collective bargaining unit includes those UW employees who meet the 6 definition of Postdoctoral Scholar under Section 25.1 and shall be appointed to the titles 7 of: 9 Postdoctoral Scholar (21641) 10 An appointment is made in the title “Postdoctoral Scholar” when the agency funding the 11 salary requires or permits the appointee to be an employee of the University, or 12 whenever General Funds or other University discretionary funds are used to support the 13 position.
Bargaining Unit Classifications. The postdoctoral collective bargaining unit includes those UW employees who meet the definition of Postdoctoral Scholar under Section 25.1 and shall be appointed to the titles of:
Bargaining Unit Classifications. The District hereby recognizes the Union is the sole and exclusive collective bargaining representative of the District employees assigned to the classifications listed below who are eligible to be represented by the Union, except as limited by Section 1 of Article 1, Recognition and Bargaining Unit Membership.
Bargaining Unit Classifications. The list of classifications assigned to this bargaining unit is found at Appendix “A” to this document. The City of Encinitas, in conformance with Section 8 of the City’s Employer-Employee Relations Resolution, retains authority to allocate new MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING CITY OF ENCINITAS / SDWD AND THE SEIU, LOCAL 221 classifications or positions, delete eliminated classifications or positions, and retain, reallocate or delete modified classifications or positions from bargaining units. The City shall notify SEIU and provide the opportunity for discussion before such actions are taken. Should any reallocation, deletion, or modification of classifications result in a change or changes to terms and conditions of employment for a classification(s) in the certified bargaining unit, the parties shall meet and confer at the Union’s request. Upon assignment of a newly created classification to the bargaining unit, the City shall provide a notice and opportunity to meet and confer over the wages and benefits of the new classification. The notice will be sent to all officers of the chapter and to SEIU Local 221 attention: Office of the President. The Union shall have two weeks (14 calendar days) to respond to the City’s notice.
Bargaining Unit Classifications. Section 1. In the event the University creates new secretarial or clerical job classifications, it shall notify the Union at least two weeks in advance. If the University and Union cannot agree whether the new job classification is to be included in or excluded from the unit, the Union may proceed directly to arbitration under the Grievance and Arbitration Article, Section 3. The Union's demand for arbitration must be made in accordance with that Section and within 30 days of the creation of the contested classification. Section 3 In the event there is a significant, substantive change in the written Job Description for a bargaining unit position, the University will notify the Union in advance. If the union requests within 14 days of that notice, the University will meet with the Union to discuss the impact of those changes.
Bargaining Unit Classifications. The bargaining unit covers the classifications of Corporal, Police Officer, Community Services Officer, and Police Support Specialist.
