Grading terms are quarter 1, 2, 3, and 4. In order to remain eligible during their current season, the student-athlete must be passing all classes. Student athletes will be required to report their grades to their coaches every two weeks. Student athletes whose grades fall below a passing grade will be assigned to the After School Homework Club (as per the academic intervention and attendance plans outlined in the H-DMS Student/Parent/Guardian Handbook) to complete work. All grades must be passing before returning to practice and games. Student athletes whose grades fall below passing will be placed on academic probation. Students on academic probation have two weeks to bring their grades to passing.
