Advanced Level. Employees who obtain a Nevada POST Advanced Certificate shall be compensated with a one-time bonus of $375.00.
Advanced Level. Where the employee demonstrates subject matter expertise beyond the accomplished level and assumes additional responsibility in performing their job requirements. Skill proficiency is externally certified. The quantity and/or quality of tasks performed by an employee at the advanced level will exceed that of 70 an employee working at the accomplished level. An employee working at the advanced level may be performing additional tasks and may be assuming additional responsibilities as described in their new position description.  Employees who have three (3) years of service to the College and at least one (1) year in Level 2 are eligible to submit a request for skills development training that will lead to Level 3 classification.  To be eligible, employees must have achieved Level 2 classification and during the most recent consecutive two (2) years must have received annual performance reviews with an overall rating of “performed well”.  Initial Application for participation shall be made to the Human Resources Department. Applications will be assessed by the HR Director and the Manager of the Department where the employee is working. The skills development application and assessment will be forwarded to the VP of the area for review and approval or denial. Approval of skills training will be based upon the relevancy of the training, whether the achievement of these skills will address outstanding College and/or Department needs, the employee’s performance ranking and the availability of funds.  At a minimum, twenty (20) hours of instruction will be required to complete Level 3 certification, either through completion of a single course or through completion of multiple courses. All training hours that are required for the successful completion of the approved training plan will be included in the calculation of total training hours as set forth in the training agreement.  It is expected that the skills training is conducted outside of working hours. Manager approval and leave use is required for training that occurs during working hours.  Upon successful completion of the skills development plan the employee will be promoted, will receive a title change, a new position description and will receive an increase to their base pay. The salary increase will be based upon the training commitment as described below:
Advanced Level. Employees who possess a Nevada P.O.S.T. Management Certificate or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution shall be compensated with an annual bonus payable on the last payday preceding December 1 of each year in the amount of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00).
Advanced Level. Employees who possess a Nevada P.O.S.T. Advanced Certificate shall be paid $1,040 per year.
Advanced Level. Employees with advanced bilingual skills who are routinely and consistently assigned to positions requiring communication in languages other than English and that are listed in section “7.5.4” are eligible to receive a pay differential of five percent (5%) of top step base pay for Police Officer (P700) for the use of these advanced skills in job duties arising during the normal course of work as emergency responders. Advanced bilingual skills, for purposes of the five percent (5%) pay differential, are defined as fluency in a listed language other than English. For law enforcement personnel, this will include the ability to translate well enough to conduct intense suspect and victim interviews at a level that will hold up in court. To receive the Advanced Level of Emergency Responder Bilingual Premium Pay, the employee is required to receive advance Department Head approval, be fluent in a listed language, and successfully pass a fluency examination as determined by the Personnel Officer. Employees may be subject to recertification no more than once every three (3) years. The parties mutually acknowledge that all employees in represented classifications are routinely and consistently assigned to positions requiring service to a diverse community and therefore may require communication in languages other than English. Employees who accept the Advanced Level of Emergency Responder Bilingual Premium Pay will be required, when called upon, to translate citywide, be a spokesperson for the department when bilingual communications between the press and the department are needed, and as circumstances may require, assist in liaison efforts to advance bilingual communication with community members or organizations. Law enforcement personnel may also be required to assist in investigations where specific bilingual language skills are identified to assist in an active or ongoing investigation.
Advanced Level. Advanced courses will focus on taxa and regions where there is currently a lack of para-taxonomic expertise, i.e. species groups that are difficult to identify, and geographic regions where para-taxonomic expertise is poorly developed (i.e. southern countries). Advanced courses also aim to enable advanced experts (alpha- taxonomists) to train advanced para-taxonomists (“train the trainers”), which will help upscaling the capacity building for the rollout of EU-PoMS. The people attending the advanced courses will be the trainers of the intermediate courses.
Advanced Level. Employees who obtain a Nevada POST Advanced Certificate and/or an Associates Degree shall have fifty dollars ($50.00) added to the employee’s monthly wage.

  • Staffing Levels To the extent legislative appropriations and PIN authorizations allow, safe staffing levels will be maintained in all institutions where employees have patient, client, inmate or student care responsibilities. In July of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of each agency will, upon request, meet with the Union, to hear the employees’ views regarding staffing levels. In August of each year, the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Budget and Management will, upon request, meet with the Union to hear the employees’ views regarding the Governor’s budget request.

  • EPP service availability Refers to the ability of the TLD EPP servers as a group, to respond to commands from the Registry accredited Registrars, who already have credentials to the servers. The response shall include appropriate data from the Registry System. An EPP command with “EPP command RTT” 5 times higher than the corresponding SLR will be considered as unanswered. If 51% or more of the EPP testing probes see the EPP service as unavailable during a given time, the EPP service will be considered unavailable.

  • Service Availability You understand that Service availability is at all times conditioned upon the corresponding operation and availability of the communication systems used in communicating your instructions and requests to the Credit Union. We will not be liable or have any responsibility of any kind for any loss or damage thereby incurred by you in the event of any failure or interruption of such communication systems or services resulting from the act or omission of any third party, or from any other cause not reasonably within the control of the Credit Union.

  • Formal Level (1) Level I - within fifteen (15) days after the occurrence of the alleged violation, misinterpretation, or misapplication of a provision of this Agreement, the grievant must present the grievance in writing on the approved form or lose the right to grieve. The form shall contain a clear, concise statement of the grievance, including the provision or provisions of this Agreement alleged to have been violated, misinterpreted, or misapplied; the circumstances involved, the decision rendered at the informal level, and the specific remedy sought. The immediate supervisor shall hold a hearing with the grievant, and shall communicate the decision in writing to the grievant within seven (7) days after receiving the grievance. In the event the immediate supervisor fails to conduct a hearing and render a decision in writing within seven days, the grievant shall notify the Superintendent, who shall convene a hearing with the immediate supervisor and the grievant within seven (7) days after notification, and direct the immediate supervisor to render a decision in writing. Such a directed decision shall be made within three (3) days. (2) Level II - In the event the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Level I, the grievant may appeal the decision on the approved form to the Superintendent or his/her designee within seven (7) days of the receipt of the Level I decision. The form shall include a copy of the original grievance, the decision at Level I, and a clear and concise statement of the reason for the appeal. The Superintendent or his designee shall hold a hearing with the parties and render a written decision within ten (10) days of the receipt of the appeal. (3) Level III - In the event the grievant is not satisfied with the decision at Level II, the Association may advise the District within seven (7) days of receipt of the Level II decision of its intent to request a mediator from the California State Conciliation Mediation Service.

  • Informal Level Before filing a formal written grievance, the grievant shall attempt to resolve it by an informal conference with his/her immediate supervisor.
