On Probation definition

On Probation with relation to a person, means a person appointed to any post on probation as specified in these Rules.
On Probation in relation to a person, means a person appointed against a substantive post on probation as specified in these Rules.
On Probation means a person appointed on a vacant post for determining his/her suitability for eventual confirmation on that post.
