Annual Vacation and Sick Leave. The Superintendent shall be allowed twenty (20) working days of vacation leave during each year of this Contract exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays, and shall be entitled to ten (10) days of sick leave during each year of this Contract, accumulative to sixty (60) days.

Annual Vacation and Sick Leave. SUPERINTENDENT shall have regular school holidays and in addition shall have twenty (20) working days of paid vacation leave for each twelve month period of employment. Payment for sick leave must qualify under this Agreement or under the policies of the District including but not limited to proof of sickness or the existence of conditions permitting the use of sick leave. THE BOARD, in its discretion, may require SUPERINTENDNET to furnish a certificate from a medical services provider showing inability to work during the absence. In addition to vacation leave and sick leave, SUPERINTENDENT shall have four (4) personal leave days (2010 minutes) to be used during the contract year. Personal leave shall not accrue, and if not utilized by SUPERINTENDENT, shall terminate at the end of the year.

  • Vacation and Sick Leave At such reasonable times as the Board of Directors shall in its discretion permit, the Employee shall be entitled, without loss of pay, to absent himself voluntarily from the performance of his employment under this Agreement, with all such voluntary absences to count as vacation time; provided that:

  • Annual Vacation Auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of four percent (4%) of their regular earnings.   • VACATION AND VACATION PAY 9.01 All employees who are covered under this Agreement shall receive vacation pay as a percent of the employee's total earnings exclusive of the Employer's contribution to the Union's Benefit Plan. Income tax shall be deducted weekly from the employee's earnings increased by the amount of vacation pay.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • Split Vacations Where an employee wishes to split her vacation, her second choice of vacation time shall be made only after all other employees concerned have made their initial selection.
