Days accumulated. Employees shall be eligible for sick leave benefits when they have qualified as a Regular Employee as defined in Paragraph 2.4 of this Agreement. The first sick leave amount and all subsequent sick leave will be calculated from the employee's hire or latest rehire date and will be accrued on a pro-rata basis during each pay period based upon 2080 compensated hours the same as vacation is accrued, (Note: This will become effective as soon after August 1, 2000, as computer programming permits.) at the rate of 120 hours per year, until the employee has an accumulation of one thousand forty (1040) hours.   • Vacation Accumulation (a) Vacations are not cumulative from year to year.

  • Maximum Accumulation Maximum accumulation amounts apply only to the amount of annual leave that may be carried over from one leave year to the next, and do not limit accumulated leave balances during the leave year.

(The foregoing is for clarity only and therefore does not modify an employee’s level of seniority under this collective agreement or previous collective agreements.)

  • Accumulated Sick Leave ‌ The Employer shall inform all employees at least once each year of the number of sick days accumulated and shall make the information available to an employee on request.

  • Seniority – Maintained and Accumulated Seniority shall be maintained and accumulated under the following conditions:

  • Accumulated Leave Employees may accumulate vacation leave to a maximum of forty (40) hours over and above the employee's maximum annual earning rate. No additional vacation leave shall be earned until such time as the employee=s accumulated vacation leave drops below the stated maximum. In such event, the accumulation of vacation leave will again commence, but in no event shall it exceed forty (40) hours over and above the employee=s maximum earning rate.
