WORK BY OTHERS. The Owner may perform additional Work related to the PROJECT by itself, or it may let other direct contracts which shall contain General Conditions similar to these. The CM will afford the other Contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or the Owner, if it is performing the additional Work itself), reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment and the execution of the Work, and shall properly connect and coordinate his work with theirs. Should the Contract entail relocation of facilities not a part of this Contract, the CM will coordinate and cooperate with the applicable entity responsible for this portion of the work.

The Contractor shall afford the other contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or the County, if it is performing the additional work itself), reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment and the execution of work, and shall properly connect and coordinate his Work with theirs. Should the contract entail relocation of facilities not a part of this Contract, the Contractor will coordinate and cooperate with the applicable entity responsible for this portion of the work. If any part of the Contractor’s Work depends (for proper execution of results) upon work of any such other Contractor (or the County), the Contractor shall inspect and promptly report to the Project Manager in writing any defects, deficiencies or delays in such work that render it unsuitable for such proper execution and results. The Contractor’s failure to report shall constitute an acceptance of the other work, except as to defects, deficiencies and delays which may appear in the other work after the execution of the work. The Contractor shall do all cutting, fitting and patching of his Work that may be required to make its several parts come together properly, and fit it to receive or be received by such other work. The Contractor shall not endanger any work of others by cutting, excavating or otherwise altering such other work and shall only cut or alter such other work with the written consent of the Project Manager. If the performance of additional work by other Contractors or the County is not noted in the contract documents prior to the execution of the Contract, written notice thereof shall be given to the Contractor prior to starting any such additional work. If the Contractor believes that the performance of such additional work by the County or others involves him in additional expense or entitles him to an extension of the Contract Time, he may make a claim therefore as provided herein these contract terms and conditions. WORK BY OTHERS. The Atlanta Independent School System may undertake or award other prime construction contracts for any work at, on, or near the Project Site governed by the Contract. Construction Manager shall fully cooperate with such other contractors and with Owner’s on-site employees and carefully adapt scheduling and performance of the Work under the Contract to accommodate the Work performed by others and heed any direction that may be provided by the Owner’s on-site representative. Construction Manager shall not commit or permit any act, which will interfere with the performance of Work by any other contractor or by any of Owner’s employees. Construction Manager shall assume all liability, financial or otherwise, in connection with the Contract and shall protect and save harmless Owner from any and all damage, loss, cost or claims that may arise because of inconvenience, delay, or loss experienced by it because of the presence and operations of other contractors working at or near Project Site governed by this Contract.
WORK BY OTHERS. 7.1 The Design-Builder shall afford utility service companies, other contractors and City employees reasonable access to the Work. He shall allow storage of material and execution of work by others. He shall properly connect and coordinate his Work with work by others.

WORK BY OTHERS. Provision of at Slab, Pit and Landings: Provide a legal, level, cement slab (with drainage if required) at the lowest landing to accommodate placement of the Lift and enclosure in accordance with any and all approved drawings, site plans, setbacks, building codes and regulations. Prior to installation of slab, review approval drawings and slab location to ensure Lift and enclosure will fit under any roof overhang or other obstruction. If obstruction exists do not proceed and notify Elevator Contractor immediately If a pit is shown on the approval drawings then the pit must be level, square and in strict accordance with the drawings to accommodate placement of the Lift and enclosure within the pit. The edge(s) of the pit must align with all upper landings to ensure the Lift will sit flush against each landing. All landings must be level and clear to permit all doors to open fully 90 degrees as shown on the approval drawings without obstruction. All landing openings must be of sufficient height to accommodate the enclosure doors and any required door operators. All finish work at landing areas including but not limited to repair of upper railings, screen enclosures, patching and painting of areas outside the Lift, is to be done by others.
