Time of Vacation. (i) (A) As far as possible, Part-time Employees shall be granted their choice of vacation periods; however, the final allotment of vacation remains within the responsibility and the authority of the Employer. The Employer shall post the vacation schedule planner by January 1st of each year. Where an Employee submits their vacation preference by March 15th of that year, the Employer shall indicate approval or disapproval of that vacation request by April 30th of the same year. Requests to carry-forward vacation shall be made, in writing, and shall be subject to the approval of the Employer. Such carry-forwards shall not exceed thirty-eight point seven five (38.75) hours.

An Employee who does not select vacation on the schedule planner may take vacation at a time approved by the Employer and not in conflict with the Employees who have selected on the vacation planner.
