Sick Leave Compensation. A. In order to receive compensation while on sick leave, the employee shall notify:
Sick Leave Compensation. An employee receiving sick leave benefits shall be paid the equivalent of straight‐time earnings. Sick leave compensation shall be paid in no less than one (1) hour increments.
Sick Leave Compensation a. If a doctor dies while employed by the County, whether or not the death is job-related, the beneficiary shall be paid the monetary value of all sick leave accrued by the doctor at the time of death. If the doctor was eligible for retirement at the time of death, the beneficiary shall have the right to waive the cash payment and instead receive credit toward retirement in accordance with Chapter 2.84 of the Sacramento County Code. The retirement beneficiary, if any, shall be the beneficiary entitled to receive cash payment of accrued sick leave.
Sick Leave Compensation. If, at the end of the last payroll period of any calendar year, an employee has a balance of more than one thousand two hundred and eighty five (1285) hours of accrued but unused sick leave, the hours in excess of one thousand two hundred eighty five (1285) will be converted into a cash payment. Each employee who has accumulated more than one thousand two hundred eighty five (1285) hours will be paid a sum equal to one hour worked, at the employee's regular straight time rate, for every three (3) hours accumulated in excess of one thousand two hundred eighty five (1285) hours. Upon retirement, an employee's sick leave balance will be converted into cash payment. Each employee will be paid according to the following schedule:

Sick Leave Compensation. Unused sick leave shall not be compensated for in any way at the time of termination of employment.
Sick Leave Compensation. An Employee that is absent from a scheduled shift on sick leave shall only be entitled to sick leave if they are not receiving pay for that day and providing that they have sufficient sick leave entitlement.
Sick Leave Compensation. Eligible employees shall be compensated for sick leave at their regular rate of pay for the hours they would have been scheduled to work. Such payment shall include applicable shift differentials provided that the employee has worked the shift for at least six (6) consecutive months or has been on a regular shift rotation basis.
Sick Leave Compensation. Upon retirement from the district after fifteen (15) years of service in West Windsor- Plainsboro Schools, one shall be compensated at 1-1/2 times the then highest current per diem substitute teacher’s pay for his/her/accumulated sick leave. Compensation for unused sick days on the same basis will become payable to the estate of the individual if he/she dies while in active service. Effective 7/1/97, compensation for employees new to the district shall be capped at $10,000, regardless of the number of sick days accumulated. Part-time administrators who also serve in positions whose terms and conditions of employment are (1) covered under another collective bargaining agreement with the Board or (2) pursuant to Board policy shall receive compensation for unused sick days as set forth in this Article for the proportion of their sick days that is equivalent to their proportion of employment as an administrator with all other compensation for unused sick leave based upon the terms and conditions of this benefit as applied to full-time employees in the other position held by the employee at the time of retirement.
Sick Leave Compensation. If a regular full‐time and part‐time employee is absent from work due to illness, injury or preventative health care, the Hospital shall pay the employee’s sick leave pay for each day of absence to the extent of the illness or injury or to the amount of the employee’s earned sick leave, whichever is less. Sick leave may be used for the illness, injury, and preventative care of a minor child or to care for other family members with a serious illness as specified in the Washington Family Care Act (RCW 49.12.
