Prime Time Vacation. Prime time is defined as the time period 23 beginning on Memorial Day and through Labor Day. The following provisions will be 24 applied by the Hospital in responding to requests for time off during prime time: 25 During prime time, nurses are limited to requests of no more than two (2) weeks of 26 ETO. Additional weeks can be granted at management’s discretion. For full time RNs, 2 27 weeks shall be defined as 6 shifts for 12 hour RNs, 8 shifts for 10 hour RNs, and 10 28 shifts for 8 hour RNs. This shall be prorated for part time RNs, to equal approximately 2 29 weeks of the part time nurses regular schedule.

Prime Time Vacation. (i) It is understood between the parties that prime time includes the periods of June 15th to September 15th, inclusive.
Prime Time Vacation. In the case of employees receiving three (3), four (4), five (5), six (6), or seven (7) weeks' vacation, one (1) week, two (2) weeks or three (3) weeks, whichever is applicable, must be taken within the periods January 15th to April 30th or September 1st to November 15th, the employee to state in January the date he prefers to take this week(s). Exceptions to the foregoing will be granted upon request to the employee's immediate Supervisor, provided that the request is consistent with Section 7.4.

Prime Time Vacation. Nurses may make requests for prime time summer (June - August) vacations. Requests shall be submitted by April 15 to the individual responsible for the scheduling of the unit and will be approved on a seniority basis by May 1, provided the operational needs of the Hospital are met. Requests can be made for vacation hours that will be accrued by the time the vacation occurs. Nurses may at the same time request second and third priorities for prime time vacations in the event their first choice is not available.
Prime Time Vacation a. The Prime Time will be inclusive of June 1st through September 10th of each year. Employees must submit requests for the prime- time vacation period no later than March 15 in order to be included in prime-time vacation scheduling process for each such respective prime time period. Employees are encouraged to submit their second or third choices with respect to vacation weeks. Where more than one employee requests an available vacation slot in a given week, preference shall be granted in accordance with seniority. However, no employee will be permitted to monopolize any given week from year to year (e.g. week of July 4) when other employees have sought the same week. Such weeks shall be rotated by seniority. No employee shall be able to take more than 2 weeks during the prime-time vacation period, unless or until all regular employees, regardless of seniority, have had an opportunity to take at least one week during the prime time vacation period. If all of the employees have had the option to take at least a single week in the prime-time period, others may take additional weeks, subject to operational and staffing needs as well as availability.
Prime Time Vacation. A Prime Time vacation period shall be defined as June 1 through September 15 of each year. The Prime Time request period shall be from January 1 through March 31 of each year. In the event of conflicting requests for vacation time by two or more employees within a unit during the request period, seniority shall prevail. The Unit Director shall post the approved vacation schedule by each April 15. Requests for Prime Time vacation submitted after the request period will be granted on a first come first serve basis. As a general rule, no more than two (2) weeks’ vacation may be taken during Prime Time. Special requests for more than two (2) weeks may be considered after all vacation requests for Prime Time have been scheduled and posted. An employee requesting a vacation outside of Prime Time shall request the desired vacation time as far in advance as possible, but not less than two (2) weeks before the work scheduled is posted. If the request for vacation is more than sixty (60) days from the date of submittal, the Employer will make a good faith effort to respond to the employee as soon as is practical, but not less than thirty (30) days prior to the posting of the work schedule in which the vacation request has been made.
