Free School Meals. Statutory entitlement to Free School Meals only applies to children in maintained schools, including the extended eligibility criteria for those in reception, Years 1 and 2 (Universal Infant Free School Meals). Academies and free schools are required to follow the Free School Meals legislation as if it applied to them by virtue of their funding agreements. Free School Meals requirements do not apply to children in the private, voluntary or independent sector. A pupil is only eligible to receive a free school meal when a claim for the meal has been made on their behalf, and their eligibility has been verified by the school/local authority where they are enrolled. In order to qualify for Free Schools Meals:  A child must be a registered pupil of a school  If the child is under compulsory school age, the child must be receiving full time education, or if part time, receiving education before and after the lunch break  Under current criteria the child’s parent/carer must be in receipt of any one or more of the following benefits: o Income support (IS) o Income-based jobseeker’s allowance (IBJSA) o Income-related employment and support allowance o Support under Part 6 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 o The guaranteed element of State Pension Credit o Child Tax Credit (but not Working Tax Credit) and have an annual income not exceeding £16,190, as assessed by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs o Working Tax Credit four-week run-on (the payment someone receives for a further four weeks after they stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit) o Universal Credit - from 1 April 2018 if a parent is entitled to Universal Credit they must have an annual net earned income equivalent to and not exceeding £7,400, assessed on up to three of the parent’s most recent Universal Credit assessment periods, to be eligible.  A child who is in receipt of a qualifying benefit in their own right is also entitled to Free School Meals.

  • Background Screening VENDOR shall comply with all requirements of Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes, and all of its personnel who (1) are to be permitted access to school grounds when students are present, (2) will have direct contact with students, or (3) have access or control of school funds, will successfully complete the background screening required by the referenced statutes and meet the standards established by the statutes. This background screening will be conducted by SBBC in advance of VENDOR or its personnel providing any services under the conditions described in the previous sentence. VENDOR shall bear the cost of acquiring the background screening required by Section 1012.32, Florida Statutes, and any fee imposed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to maintain the fingerprints provided with respect to VENDOR and its personnel. The parties agree that the failure of VENDOR to perform any of the duties described in this section shall constitute a material breach of this Agreement entitling SBBC to terminate immediately with no further responsibilities or duties to perform under this Agreement. VENDOR agrees to indemnify and hold harmless SBBC, its officers and employees from any liability in the form of physical or mental injury, death or property damage resulting from VENDOR’s failure to comply with the requirements of this section or with Sections 1012.32 and 1012.465, Florida Statutes.

In addition, cost responsibility for ongoing costs, including operation and maintenance costs associated with the Interconnection Facilities, will be allocated between Interconnection Customer and any non-Party users based upon the pro rata use of the Interconnection Facilities by Transmission Owner, all non-Party users, and Interconnection Customer, in accordance with Applicable Laws and Regulations or upon some other mutually agreed upon methodology. If the issue of such compensation or allocation cannot be resolved through such negotiations, it shall be submitted to Dispute Resolution pursuant to Section 12 of the Tariff.
