Allowance and Accumulation. Full-time teachers are provided fifty-six (56) hours of sick leave at full pay each contract year. Unused sick leave hours will be accrued until the maximum of one thousand four hundred forty (1440) is accumulated. Sick leave hours provided are prorated for teachers working less than full time.

Allowance and Accumulation. A. Full-time employees shall earn 3.69 hours of sick leave per pay period. Effective April 1, 2016, employees on an unpaid leave shall earn sick leave pro-rata based on compensated hours of work. Sick leave may be used in the pay period immediately following the pay period in which it was accrued.
