HOURS OF WORK (Continued). 3.02 Where the Employer cannot start or continue work due to inclement weather, the Employer may request the Employee(s) work on the Friday or Saturday, as appropriate, at the regular hourly rate of pay to conclude a normal work week of forty (40) hours and notify the Union of same. No discriminatory action will be taken against those Employees refusing the work.

HOURS OF WORK (Continued). 15.02 It is understood that the Board will prepare a regular schedule of hours to be worked by employees. Where changes in that schedule are necessary involving three (3) or more employees the Board will provide the employee and the President of the Union with at least seven (7) calendar days advance notice. However, in the case of emergency there shall be no obligation on the part of the Board to give such notice.

Volunteers from those qualified to do the work will staff standby. HOURS OF WORK (Continued). 7.07 When two (2) or three (3) shift operations are involved, it is agreed that machines must be kept operating through the period of the shift change. In cases where the operator or feeder from the incoming shift is late the outgoing employees are expected to cooperate in keeping the equipment operating until the incoming personnel arrive and shall be paid for each 15 minute period or part thereof at one and one-half times regular rate. An employee is required to notify their supervisor if they are likely to be late for work or unable to report to work for that shift subject to the attendance policy. Any employee working on a two or three shift operation will be allowed to relieve the outgoing classifications up to a maximum of 30 minutes. This relief will result in no loss of pay or overtime payment. Employees will not be allowed to leave their work station prior to being relieved.
