Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. 21.1 Employees (excluding casual employees) shall be entitled to a maximum of two days without loss of pay on each occasion and on production of satisfactory evidence of the death or near death in Australia of the employee’s partner, father, mother, brother, sister, child, stepchild or parents-in-law.
Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. 2.12.1 Employees are entitled to leave without loss of pay (in the case of permanent Employees) for up to two (2) days compassionate leave for each occasion (a permissible occasion) when:
Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. 26.2 Notwithstanding the above, bereavement/compassionate leave will be granted at the discretion of the Principal, in consultation with the designated supervisory officer, and such bereavement/compassionate leave will not be deducted from accumulated sick leave credits.
Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. Upon the death of a relative, an employee shall be granted a compassionate leave of up to five (5) working days, depending upon the time of bereavement in relation to the normal time off and the degree of relationship of the deceased, without loss of pay. A further two (2) days for traveling may be allowed at the discretion of the department head. Upon the written notification to the Superintendent – Human Resources and Administrative Services, the following bereavement leaves will be approved.
Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. (a) When there is a death of an immediate family member of a Member, the Member concerned shall be entitled to up to five (5) days of bereavement leave with full pay and benefits. Where there is a death of a Member's grandparent, grandchild, brother-in-law or sister-in-law, the Member shall be entitled to up to three (3) days of bereavement leave with full pay and benefits. Additional days absence, with full pay and benefits, may be arranged by the Member with the appropriate person where this is necessary for travel, religious requirements or similar good reasons. The Member shall notify the appropriate person when such leave, basic or extended, will be taken.

Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. The provisions of this clause apply to full-time and part-time employees, but do not apply to casual employees. The entitlements of casual employees are set out in Clause 7.3.3 - Casual employees and Caring responsibilities.
Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. 18.2.1 An employee may be granted up to five (5) days per year bereavement/ compassionate leave, with pay, as a result of death or serious illness in the employee's immediate family.
Bereavement/Compassionate Leave. In the case of a death of an Immediate relative, the employee shall be granted a leave of absence not exceeding five (5) working days, three (3) days of which shall be leave with full pay. “Immediate Relative” - parent, grandparent, guardian, brother, sister, child, husband or wife (including common-law) or the parent, brother, sister or child of an employee's spouse (including common-law), as the case may be, and step- parents, step-children, or step-siblings.
