Casual Employees definition

Casual Employees means employees who are employed on a casual basis and includes persons who are employed for periods not exceeding five days at any one time.
Casual Employees means an employee who is not a regular full-time, regular part-time, probationary, or term employee but is available as required to perform duties, including but not limited to the following reasons:
Casual Employees means an employee who is employed on an hourly basis, and who has no reasonable expectation of regular work. A casual employee is not entitled to any termination payments pursuant to this Agreement.

Casual Employees means persons employed by the Board on a casual basis to replace permanent employees during an absence, for special projects or during periods of heavy workload. A casual assignment shall not extend beyond 10 consecutive working days. Casual employees are excluded from the provisions of:
