Entitlement. For the purpose of calculating six days per calendar year, one day shall be considered to be one day regardless of the regularly scheduled workday. Calculation for part-time employees and partial days will be on a prorated basis.
Entitlement. The allowances prescribed in this clause shall not be taken into account when calculating overtime penalty rates, annual leave, sick leave, long service leave or public holiday payments.
Entitlement. A fulltime employee shall be entitled to be paid annual leave at the rate of 4 weeks of ordinary time for each year of employment. The period of annual leave shall be exclusive of any public holiday that occurs during the period.
Entitlement. Employees (except casual employees) will be entitled to four (4) weeks of annual leave per annum.
Entitlement. A weekly employee shall accrue paid sick leave at the rate of 10 days for each year of employment. Xxxx leave will be paid at the employee’s ordinary rate of pay for ordinary hours for the period of sick leave. Sick leave shall not apply for illnesses or injury covered by worker’s compensation. An employee shall not be entitled to be paid sick leave for more ordinary hours than the employee would have worked on that day.
Entitlement. Upon written request, an employee shall be entitled to a leave of absence without pay of up to twelve (12) consecutive months in addition to statutory requirements.
Entitlement. An eligible employee is entitled to eighteen weeks of paid leave in relation to each birth and this entitlement is in addition to the Federal paid parental leave scheme. To avoid doubt, the entitlement under this clause does not increase in cases of multiple births, adoptions or care and protection orders that apply to more than one child.
Entitlement. An employee may be granted personal leave up to their available credit from the first day of service.
Entitlement. The entitlements set out hereunder are subject to the limitations in this Article. Where the expenses for meals, lodging and other items cannot be kept within the entitlements laid down in this Article, the claimant must explain the circumstances of his claim and justify actual expenses by receipts.
Entitlement. An employee will be granted a compassionate care leave of absence without pay for up to eight (8) weeks to care for a gravely ill family member. In order to be eligible for this leave, the employee must provide a medical certificate as proof that the ill family member needs care or support and is at risk of dying within twenty-six (26) weeks.
