Entitlement. For the purpose of calculating six days per calendar year, one day shall be considered to be one day regardless of the regularly scheduled workday. Calculation for part-time employees and partial days will be on a prorated basis.

Entitlement. An employee will be granted a compassionate care leave of absence without pay for up to eight (8) weeks to care for a gravely ill family member. For the purpose of this Article 7.8, “family member” is defined as one of the persons listed in Appendix IFamily Members for the Purpose of Article 7.8
Entitlement. F18.4 Under this clause, an employee is entitled to be absent on paid leave for a maximum of two weeks (ten working days) at, or near, the time of the birth, adoption or commencement of the permanent caring arrangement. The maximum absence may be increased by a further five days of personal leave for bonding purposes as per subclause F4.29.
