WAGES AND OTHER COMPENSATION. 1. Effective July 1, 2004 a three percent (3%) general increase will be applied to all individual rates of pay of each member of the bargaining unit. Employees who are not on the active roll at the time of the general increase will receive the increase adjustment at the time they return to the active roll.

WAGES AND OTHER COMPENSATION. Except as otherwise prohibited by Law, to the extent reflected in the Final Closing Statement, Buyer shall assume as Assumed Liabilities and pay or cause a Designated Employing Entity to pay to all Transferred Business Employees all wages, salaries, short-term incentives and bonuses, commissions or other compensation earned or accrued prior to and through the Relevant Closing. Sellers shall retain all Liabilities to pay all Business Employees all wages, salaries, commissions and other compensation earned or accrued through the Relevant Closing that are not otherwise assumed by Buyer. The transfer and allocation of payroll services regarding Transferred Employees shall be provided for in the Transition Services Agreement.

WAGES AND OTHER COMPENSATION. A. On the first full payroll period beginning on or after January 1, 2015, the minimum and maximum rates of each classification, excluding the F14-Tier 1 classification, shown on page 1 of Exhibit C shall be increased 2.50% as shown on page 2 of Exhibit C and all employees’ rates shall receive a 2.50% across the board general wage increase (GWI). The minimum annual rate for the F14-Tier 1 classification shall be figured by subtracting $10,000 from the minimum annual rate of the F14-Tier 2 classification, as shown in Exhibit C. The maximum rates for the F14-Tier 1 classification shall be the same as the maximum rates of the F14-Tier 2 classification.
WAGES AND OTHER COMPENSATION. Section 1. Effective on the 1st day of the first full pay period of each full year of this Agreement, the wage levels for all bargaining unit Employees shall be as indicated in Appendix A to this Agreement. The Chief, in his/her sole discretion, will determine the step at which a lateral entry will begin. No lateral entry may begin at the top step. Those hired under the lateral entry will advance to the next succeeding step on their anniversary dates of hire. Laterally transferred employees will be subject to a one-year probationary period, effective from their date of hire. During this time, vacation leave will be limited to 48-hours, regardless of service credit. The Fire Chief, in his/her sole discretion, may reduce the one-year probation based upon the qualifications and years of service of the employee. The effective date for new wage levels in 2021 will correspond to the pay date in 2021 which is closest to December 26, 2021.
