Examples of General Increase in a sentence
If the average Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for the Southeast (as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics) for the calendar months of August 2022 through July 2023 exceeds the four and one-half percent (4.5%) General Increase, the General Increase shall be adjusted to match the average Consumer Price Index up to a maximum of 7%.
If the CPI-U for the Southeast is lower than the 4.5%, the General Increase will remain at 4.5% and will not be reduced.
If the average Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) for the Southeast (as reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics) for the calendar months of August 2023 through July 2024 exceeds the three and one-half percent (3.5%) General Increase, the General Increase shall be adjusted to match the average Consumer Price Index up to a maximum of 7%.
General Increase for the period of the leave will be applied to base salary upon return from the leave.
If the CPI-U for the Southeast is lower than the 3.5%, the General Increase will remain at 3.5% and will not be reduced.
