Vacation Incentive. Effective July 1, one (1) additional day of vacation up to a maximum of four (4) days shall be granted annually to each unit member for each twenty-five (25) days of accumulated sick leave. Such vacation incentive entitlement will be based on sick leave accumulated as of June 30. The following schedule will prevail: Days of Accumulated Sick Leave Days of Earned Vacation 50-74 2 75-99 3 100+ 4 All vacation days earned in this manner shall be added to regular vacation days and taken during the following year in accordance with Article XIV, of the current Agreement.

Vacation Incentive. 1. Longevity: Beginning the twenty-fifth (25) year of service with the District, an employee will be granted one (1) additional vacation day. This day shall be added to regular vacation days, and taken during the following year in accordance with Article XIV Vacations of the current agreement.
Vacation Incentive. During any slow period in the current calendar year of two (2) weeks or longer the Company may ask any employee to use his/her vacation time during this period. If vacation is taken during a slow period then every fifth day of consecutive vacation is free. Free days must be taken immediately and cannot be banked. If there are two or more volunteers, seniority shall prevail. This is at the complete discretion of the Company and in particular the individual branch. In periods of high year round activity there may be no designated “slow periods”.
Vacation Incentive. Except for the use of FMLA/OFLA leave, and the first forty (40) hours of sick leave protected annually under Oregon’s Sick Leave Law, represented full‐ time employees who do not use any sick leave during any consecutive three (3) month period shall be entitled to convert ten (10) hours of accrued sick leave to ten (10) hours of vacation leave. Conversion requests should be submitted immediately after the conclusion of the consecutive three (3) month period; however, requests made for converted time during the previous rolling twelve (12) month period will be accepted. Requests that include converted time prior to the rolling twelve (12) month period will not be considered.
Vacation Incentive. Every unit member with more than 10 years and less than 15 years of total service time with the Riverside Police Department shall have credited to his/her vacation bank, in January of each year, an additional 20 hours if in the preceding calendar year the employee used less than 50 hours of sick leave. The effectiveness of this incentive will be assessed during the term of the contract for potential re-evaluation in the next contract.

Vacation Incentive. Represented full-time employees who do not use any sick leave (scheduled or unscheduled) during any consecutive three (3) month period shall be entitled to convert ten (10) hours of accrued sick leave to ten (10) hours of vacation leave. However, any unscheduled leave that causes overtime for coverage will disqualify the employee for the incentive. Conversion requests should be submitted immediately after the conclusion of the consecutive three (3) month period; however, requests made for converted time during the previous rolling twelve (12) month period will be accepted. Requests that include converted time prior to the rolling twelve (12) month period will not be considered. Unscheduled leave is defined as an absence for which the employee has either failed to report to work or remain at work as scheduled, without providing a supervisor a written two (2) week advance notice. The two (2) week advance notice requirement can be waived at the discretion of the supervisor.

  • Sick Leave Incentive The City will institute a sick leave incentive based on the usage of the bargaining unit; further, the City will pay each person who qualifies during January of each year. The incentive will be calculated and monitored by the Personnel Department and will be based on the pay periods during a calendar year. The incentive shall be awarded only when the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is less than the City average and the following conditions are met: When the bargaining unit's sick leave usage is greater than forty (40) hours but less than the City average, the City will pay each member using between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours of sick leave, eight (8) hours pay and any member using more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, four (4) hours pay. When the bargaining unit's average sick leave usage is equal to or less than forty (40) hours, the City will pay each member who used between zero (0) and sixteen (16) hours, sixteen (16) hours of pay at their current hourly rate. Those members who used more than sixteen (16) but equal to or less than twenty-four (24) hours, will receive eight (8) hours of pay.

  • Education Incentive Pay An employee shall be entitled to receive educational incentive pay as follows:

  • Vacation Bonus Employees shall receive one day's base pay (or adjusted earnings) for each year of service beyond twenty-five (25) years, to a maximum of ten (10) days’ pay.

  • Sick Leave Bonus For every six (6) months of perfect sick leave attendance after July 1, 1987, the employee will receive eight (8) hours of bonus time. This bonus time will be prorated for part-time employees. Such bonus time can be used for any leave purpose covered by this Agreement. Such bonus time shall be counted as vacation leave credits for purposes of determining eligibility for carry- over and cash payments.

  • Vacation Payout Where an employee requests in writing to have a specific number of vacation days paid out, and the Employer agrees to the request, the Employer will issue pay in lieu of vacation. Pay in lieu of vacation, if agreed, will be granted only after a minimum of 15 days' vacation time has already been taken in the year.

  • Vacation Allowance Employees in permanent positions are entitled to vacation with pay. Accrual is based upon straight time hours of working time per calendar month of service and begins on the date of appointment to a permanent position. Increased accruals begin on the first of the month following the month in which the employee qualifies. Accrual for portions of a month shall be in minimum amounts of one (1) hour calculated on the same basis as for partial month compensation pursuant to Section 5.6 of this MOU. Vacation credits may be taken in one (1) minute increments but may not be taken during the first six (6) months of employment (not necessarily synonymous with probationary status) except where sick leave has been exhausted; and none shall be allowed in excess of actual accrual at the time vacation is taken.
