Day of Vacation. A day’s vacation pay will be computed by multiplying eight (8) times the employee’s straight time hourly pay rate in effect at the time the vacation is taken.

Day of Vacation. Where an employee is on vacation leave and a day of paid holiday falls within that period, the paid holiday shall not count as a day of vacation. Paid Holiday Pay‌ Payment for paid holidays will be made at an employee's basic pay, except if an employee has been working in a higher paid position than their regular position for a majority of the 60 workdays preceding a paid holiday, in which case they shall receive the higher rate. For employees who work in excess of seven hours per day, they shall receive the higher rate if they have been working in a higher paid position for a majority of the 420 working hours preceding a paid holiday.

Holiday Pay For Regular Employees Regular part-time employees shall receive four point two percent (4.2%) of straight-time pay instead of a day off with pay. Scheduling of Lieu Days Reasonable effort will be made to schedule days off in lieu of holidays as additions to the employee's regular days off and such lieu days off will be by mutual agreement. Should any employee not report to work without a legitimate on the day before or the day after any holiday listed in this Article, he or she shall not be entitled to receive remuneration for such day.
