Section 18.6. Funeral Leave Up to 48 hours, leave may be granted to an employee who provides 41 proof of attendance at the funeral of: brother, sister, spouse, child, xxxxx, nephew, mother, father, 42 grandchild, or other persons standing in loco parentis (in place of a parent) to the employee. The 43 initial 24 hours of any such leave will be treated as paid funeral leave with the balance up to 48 44 hours, being charged against the employee’s sick leave. 45

Section 18.6. 25 This Agreement may be reopened and modified at any time during its term upon mutual consent of the 26 parties in writing; provided, however, that this Agreement shall be reopened annually to renegotiate 27 Schedule A and fringe benefits herein and provided further, that this Agreement shall be reopened to 28 consider the impact of any legislation enacted following execution of this Agreement which may 29 arguably affect the terms and conditions herein or create authority to alter personnel practices in public 30 employment.
