Mechanical Services definition

Mechanical Services means all services in a building or facility that involve motors, machines, or the flow of fluids usually in conjunction with electrical or electromechanical controls.
Mechanical Services means employees engaged in the installation of control equipment for airconditioning. "County of Cumberland" as per the defined boundaries within the industry.
Mechanical Services means installation services in respect of any Materials relating to plumbing and heating, air conditioning, ventilation or extraction as set out in the Mechanical Services Schedule; "Mechanical Maintenance Services" means maintenance and support services relating to plumbing and heating, air conditioning, ventilation or extraction as set out in the Mechanical Maintenance Services Schedule;

Examples of Mechanical Services in a sentence

  • An employee at this level will have: • For Plumbing and Mechanical Services workers - successfully completed a Services Stream Certificate (Plumbing and Mechanical Services) Level 1 consisting of 16 appropriate modules of structured training agreed to between the parties to this Agreement; or • obtained equivalent skills gained through work experience subject to competency testing to the prescribed standard covering the same content as the above modules of training.

  • A Plumbing and Mechanical Services Tradesperson Level 1 is an employee who is not a licensed drainer or performing mechanical services pipe-work but perform work of a skilled trade nature for which registration with a recognised licensing authority is not required although the person may not be formally trade qualified and who is able to exercise the skill and knowledge of the relevant trade: • Exercises good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • A Plumbing and Mechanical Services Worker Level 3 is an employee who has: • successfully completed a Services Stream Certificate (Plumbing and Mechanical Services) Certificate 2 of formal structured training agreed to between the parties to this Agreement; or • obtained equivalent skills gained through work experience subject to competency testing to the prescribed standards covering the content of the above agreed modules of training; or • Is a licensed Drainer.

  • A Plumbing and Mechanical Services Worker Level 2(d) is an employee who has fulfilled the substantive requirements of a Plumbing and Mechanical Services Worker Level 2(d) as detailed below.

  • The Plumbing and Mechanical Services Tradesperson Level 1 classification incorporates any worker working in any classification covered by the scope of this APPENDIX as it applied prior to this Agreement who is not: • Engaged on tasks purely of an unskilled nature.

  • A Plumbing and Mechanical Services Tradesperson - Special Class Level 2 works above and beyond a Plumbing and Mechanical Services Tradesperson - Special Class Level 1 and to the level of her/his training: • Exercises the skills attained through completion of the training prescribed for this classification.

  • A Plumbing and Mechanical Services Tradesperson Level 2 works above and beyond a Plumbing and Mechanical Services tradesperson at Level 1 and to the level of her/his training: • Exercises the skills attained through completion of the training prescribed for this classification.

  • An employee at this level performs work above and beyond the skills of an employee at Plumbing and Mechanical Services Worker Level 2(c) and to the level of her/his training: • Assists in the co-ordination of work in a team environment or works individually under general supervision.

  • Participation in and support for Plumbing and Mechanical Services and general Building and Construction initiatives to improve industry standards in occupational health and safety will form an important part of this commitment.

  • The parties agree that work team will be an important organisational concept within the Mechanical Services area and Plumbing areas.

Related to Mechanical Services

  • Technical Services means all services that are necessary to carry out individual, scattered site activities including but not limited to: (1) conducting initial inspections, (2) work write-up or project specification development, (3) cost estimate preparation, (4) construction supervision associated with activities that do not require an architect or engineer, (5) lead hazard reduction or lead abatement need determination and oversight, (6) lead hazard reduction or abatement carrying costs, (7) temporary relocation coordination, (8) financing costs such as security agreement preparation and recording or filing fees, (9) processing of individual applications for assistance, (10) income eligibility determination and verification, (11) value determination (new construction) or after rehabilitation value determination (existing structures), and (12) project-specific environmental clearance processes.

  • technical service means an organisation or body designated by the approval authority of a Member State as a testing laboratory to carry out tests, or as a conformity assessment body to carry out the initial assessment and other tests or inspections, on behalf of the approval authority, it being possible for the approval authority itself to carry out those functions;

  • local services means those services, facilities or things which are under the jurisdiction of the municipality and are related to a plan of subdivision or within the area to which the plan relates in respect of the lands under Sections 41,51 or 53 of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, as amended or any successor thereto;

  • Medical services means Medically Necessary services, including, as the context requires, Confinement, treatments, procedures, tests, examinations or other related services for the investigation or treatment of a Disability.

  • Technical Services Agreement means the Technical Services Agreement between Cheniere LNG, Inc. and Contractor, dated June 7, 2010.
