Driver Trainer. A bus driver selected to provide training for current or new drivers will receive compensation based upon the addition of a 10% differential added to the trainer’s current salary level.
Driver Trainer. The Employer shall appoint a driver instructor from within the bargaining unit who shall be paid an additional two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour for all hours worked providing such training. The Employer shall pay line trainers who provide in-service route training to employees, one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for all hours worked providing such training.
Driver Trainer. Driver trainer(s) will be appointed from the bargaining unit by the Transportation Director.
Driver Trainer. A Driver Trainer Allowance will be paid to an Employee who holds a current Certificate 4 in “Workplace Training and Assessment”, and has been nominated by the Company as a Driver Trainer.
Driver Trainer. A. Qualified person assigned to train and qualify new drivers to become CDL qualified or ascertain if van qualified.
Driver Trainer. An authorized bargaining unit employee assigned to train bus drivers under the direction of the Lead Driver Trainer, shall be paid two dollars ($2.00) per hour above their regular rate of pay while performing training related work.
Driver Trainer. A Driver Trainer is an employee who meets the skill set and classification requirements for a Mainline Driver and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and demonstrates their ability to plan, deliver and review training and assessments for Interail employees
Driver Trainer. The job classification of Lead Driver Trainer shall pay a premium of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour while performing the duties of a Lead Driver Trainer and a two (2) hour minimum will apply. Driver Trainers shall be designated by the Company. The Employer shall retain the right to conduct driver assessments, evaluations, and remedial training.
Driver Trainer. The Driver/Trainer classification shall consist of two (2) drivers. Each driver must have a minimum of seven (7) years seniority in Division IV – Transportation Department with Brighton Area Schools. A Driver/Trainer will serve a one (1) year trial period with no additional compensation until successful completion of the “Train the Trainer” program. Upon successful completion of the “Train the Trainer” program, The Driver/Trainer will be paid an additional 25 cents per hour over and above his/her driver’s wage during the one (1) year trial period according to the wage schedule established for this position. The Director of Transportation has the right to relieve the driver from the trainer position during the trial period at which time the driver will return to his/her regular Driver Classification. If at any time after the trial period the Director of Transportation and the Superintendent both are in agreement, the Driver shall return to the regular Driver Classification at his/her regular rate of pay, and there shall be no binding arbitration. The wage schedule for the Driver/Trainer Position shall be: Year 1 – Regular Driver rate of pay until successful completion of “Train the Trainer” Year 1 – After successful completion of “Train the Trainer”, current regular rate of driver pay + $.25 per hour Year 2 – Current regular rate of driver pay + $.50 per hour Year 3 – Current regular rate of driver pay + $1.00 per hour Field Trips – Regular rate of driver pay only. Noon/Midday – Regular rate of driver pay only. Drivers currently in positions will be given credit for wage purposes for prior years of service as Driver/Trainers.
Driver Trainer a. The Driver Trainer stipend will be paid on the annual payroll schedule. The stipend amounts are as follows: 2023-2024 2024-2025 2025-2026 2026-2027 $20,750 $21,528 $22,335 $23,173
