Representation and Bargaining Unit. The City recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive representative of all the employees within the Bargaining Unit covered by this agreement for the purpose of collective bargaining with respect to salary schedule, fringe benefits, and any other terms and conditions of employment.
Representation and Bargaining Unit. The City recognizes the Union, its designated agents and representatives, its successors and/or assigns, as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining agent for all full-time employees covered by the classi- fications in the salary tables of this Agreement. Representation and Bargaining Unit of this Agreement and are not covered by any of the provisions of this Agreement. The only exception to this rule is the seasonal Park Security personnel. Appendix B Uniforms The City will reimburse Xxxxxx Park Zoo employees $200.00 per fiscal year and Police Department employees $100.00 per fiscal year for Safety Shoes (ANSI Certified #75) required in the course of their duties. The City agrees to replace such uniforms as it becomes worn out. Any employee seeking replacement of any part of a uniform shall present the worn out part to the supervisor. Worn out uniforms parts shall be returned to the employee after being marked for identification. For the purpose of calling in employees for overtime and filling job vacancies in the Department of Public Service, Fleet Man- agement employees hired prior to April 30, 2007 will be eligible based on seniority.
Representation and Bargaining Unit. The City recognizes the Association as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all patrol officers employed by the City’s Police Department, excluding sergeants, lieutenants, commanding officers, Chief of Police, clerical employees, part-time employees and all other employees of the City. The parties agree that the historical pattern of bargaining permits probationary officers to be part of the bargaining unit for wages and insurance purposes only. The parties agree that in all other matters probationary officers are not and have not been included in the bargaining unit. The length of the probationary period shall be 18 months from the initial date of hire.

The City recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all full-time inspectors employed in the Planning and Code Enforcement Department (Inspector IV - Mechanical Plans Examiner, Inspector III - Plumbing, Inspector III - HVAC, Inspector III- Electrical, Inspector III-Building, Inspector III - Multi-Disciplined, Inspector III - Fire, Inspector III – Fire Protection, Inspector III- Rehab Specialist Inspector II- Rental, Inspector II – Property Maintenance and Inspector I – Property Maintenance and the Inspector IV - Crime Data Analyst and Inspector IV - Crime Intelligence Analyst, employed by the Police Department excluding supervisors, probationary employees, temporary employees and all other employees of the City.
