NO STRIKE AND NO LOCKOUT. The Union agrees that, during the life of this Agreement, neither the Union nor its agents or members will authorize, instigate, aid, condone or engage in a work stoppage, slowdown or strike, including sympathy strikes. The Employer agrees that during the same period there shall be no lockouts. Likewise, it is understood and agreed that the Union and employees shall not engage in concerted activities calculated to influence elected officials, such as picketing private homes or businesses.

NO STRIKE AND NO LOCKOUT. 11.1 The Employer agrees that there shall be no lockout of Employees and the Union agrees that there shall be no strike during the term of this Agreement. Lockout and strike shall be as defined in the Labour Relations Act.

NO STRIKE AND NO LOCKOUT. Section 42.1 No Strike It is understood and agreed that the services performed by employees covered in this Agreement are essential to the public health, safety, and welfare. The Union, therefore agrees, that it will not authorize, instigate, aid, condone, or engage in any strike, work stoppage, slowdown, or other interference with the operation of the District. In the event of a violation of this section, the Union agrees to take affirmative steps with the employees concerned, such as letters, bulletins, telegrams, employee meetings, and public denouncement of any violations to bring about immediate resumption of normal work.

During the term of this Agreement or any renewal thereof and during the negotiation period of any successor agreement prior to impasse, the University and its management employees shall not lock-out and the Union and members of the Bargaining Unit shall not engage in any strike (including any work stoppage, slow-down, picketing, sick-out, boycott, stay-home, sit-down, sympathy strike, refusal to cross picket lines, or any other form of restriction of production). Any violation shall subject any participant to immediate discharge.
