Probationary Officers. Probationary officers may not travel alone, but may be sent if more than one officer is assigned to the ICA travel detail.
Probationary Officers. Probationary officers who are the subject of a disciplinary action shall have an exclusive right of review in the form of a pre-deprivation hearing before the Chief of Police. The Probationary Officer may be accompanied by a PBPA representative at this pre-deprivation hearing.

(A) Each newly hired officer shall be considered a probationary officer for the first twelve (12) months of continuous service, after which his seniority shall date back to his date of hire with the Employer. Probationary Officers. 22.3.2 If additional reductions are necessary after all non-permanent officers have been laid off, permanent officers will be laid off, transferred, or take a voluntarily demotion in descending order of seniority in the geographical area and job classifications identified for lay off.

No officer may use vacation time until the first of the calendar month after he/she has completed six months of employment in the District, and all hours of vacation credited to a probationary officer during his/her first six months of employment shall be contingent upon the officer's completion of six months of employment.
