Division of Overtime. Section 3.36. The division and assignment of all overtime will be at the sole discretion of the contractor. All overtime will be reasonably and impartially divided among the workmen over the duration of the job except where it is mutually agreed to be impractical.
Division of Overtime. Overtime shall be divided as equally as proficient operations permit among the employees who are performing similar work in the group. A record of overtime worked by employees (or credited to them) will be maintained by the immediate supervisor of the group and will be available for examination by the appropriate Union Xxxxxxx upon request.
Division of Overtime. The Parties agree that overtime opportunities, other than those which are an extension of the regular hours of work or overtime generated by emergencies beyond the control of the Employer, shall be offered to able and qualified employees who normally perform the work, according to a rotating list in order of seniority. The first person on the list shall have the first opportunity and whether the employee accepts, declines, or is unavailable shall be deemed to have had their opportunity. An employee working a regular shift when the overtime opportunity occurs will maintain their position on the list for the next opportunity. The Employer shall maintain up-to-date records of overtime worked. No employee shall be required to work overtime when other qualified employees are willing and available to work. "Emergencies beyond the control of the Employer" shall include forecasted or sudden storm, flood or the potential thereof, unexpected departure of a staff member and danger or potential danger to life and/or property.
Division of Overtime. As proficient operations permit, the Company agrees that overtime shall be divided as equally as practicable among qualified employees. It is expressly understood that employees will perform reasonable overtime assignments when requested, except where cases of personal emergency exist.
Division of Overtime. Unlicensed Personnel in their respective departments shall be afforded equal opportunity to participate in overtime work that has to be performed.
Division of Overtime a) As far as is consistent with the efficient performance of work, all members of the Engineroom Department shall be afforded equal opportunity to participate in overtime work that has to be performed. ARTICLE
Division of Overtime. H:03(5)(a) Overtime, and work which attracts a premium rate of pay under this Schedule will be divided as equally as possible among the Permanent Full Time Employees as per Employee classification before Casual Operators or Student Employee Operators or non- Employees are considered. H:03(5)(b) All known A.M. work will be covered the night before. H:03(5)(c) At 9:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. as the case may be, the Inspector on duty will telephone those Operators who are scheduled to work as regular Spare Board Operators at regular rate by seniority to select their work assignment. The Inspector on duty will then telephone those Operators who have indicated their desire to work overtime by signing the appropriate posting. Those who confirm their desire to work will be recalled by seniority to select their work assignment. If an Employee has previously indicated his/her desire to work and then refuses same, the call-in will not be adjusted and the overtime hours that would have been worked will be added to the list of overtime hours for that Employee. Should additional work become available after the Inspector has filled all known work assignments and there are no Operators available at regular rate, then the Operator with the least amount of overtime hours who has signed the appropriate posting will be offered the work.

H:05(5)(a) Overtime, and work which attracts a premium rate of pay under this Schedule will be divided as equally as possible among the Full Time Operators before Part Time Operators or Student Operators or non-operators are considered. H:05(5)(b) When no one signs for overtime work the Transit Operations Supervisor will call anyone they believe may be available for overtime. H:05(5)(c) Operators who wish to work overtime must indicate their desire by signing the proper posting, that is the A.M. or P.M. overtime sheet or the appropriate day off sheet. Article H:04 Work Distribution will prevail.
