All Unit Clause Samples

The "All Unit" clause establishes that a particular obligation, right, or condition applies to all units within a defined group, such as all apartments in a building or all products in a shipment. In practice, this means that any terms, requirements, or benefits specified in the contract are uniformly extended to every unit covered by the agreement, without exception. This clause ensures consistency and fairness across all units, preventing disputes over selective application and simplifying administration for both parties.
All Unit. Members meeting the job specifications as announced, who complete a transfer request, shall be considered for the position; however, the final selection shall be in the sole discretion of the Employer.
All Unit. J (except NMC) 2.1.1 All County job classes shall be designated as either 1) overtime eligible, or 2) overtime exempt. Each of the above categories shall be assigned a special code which shall appear beside each class as listed in the County salary resolution. 2.1.2 Except as otherwise provided herein, employees in overtime eligible classes shall be compensated for overtime authorized by their appointing authority by either 1) compensatory time off at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) hours credit for each hour of overtime, or 2) in cash at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) times the employee’s regular rate of pay.
All Unit. Seniority shall be defined as the total number of hours worked in the service of the Employer in any position. This continuous employment should include all absences due to Maternity Leave, Parental Leave up to fifty-two (52) weeks of combined, and illness, or injury as compensated by and authorized sick leave up to twelve (12) weeks per incident. The Seniority List shall consist of the names of all Employees of the Bargaining Unit. The order on the Seniority List shall be utilized when applying the Seniority concept to staffing of term or acting position; promotions, transfers, and job posting procedures where skills and abilities required by the Employer have been met; lay off; recall; distribution of relief hours available, and distribution of available overtime. If the hours worked for two (2) or more Employees are the same the order on the Seniority List shall be determined by lot, conducted by the Union.
All Unit employees have the right to bring matters of personal concern to the attention of GESTA representatives and/or appropriate Management officials in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and the provisions of this Agreement. In bringing such matters to the attention of Management officials, the employee has the right to have a GESTA representative present.
